Paul’s photography goes beyond posed shots—it’s about telling the unique story of your wedding day. He typically begins coverage two hours before your ceremony to capture those special pre-wedding moments and stays until after the first dance, ensuring every key memory is beautifully documented.
You’ll receive a generous collection of images—usually between 700 and 1,100—each carefully edited by Paul himself. These come in high-resolution files perfect for printing, plus low-resolution versions that are easy to share on social media. An online gallery is also provided, making it simple to share your memories with family and friends.
Holding a first-class degree in Photojournalism, Paul has a keen eye for capturing genuine emotions and fleeting moments. His wedding photography experience spans a wide variety of venues—from iconic locations like the Houses of Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral to intimate garden ceremonies and breathtaking destination weddings in Tuscany and the Greek islands. This versatility means he can adapt to any setting and lighting, delivering stunning results every time.
In Carantec, France, with some 24 people. It was the calmest, most tranquil couple of days and a pleasure to photograph. Or, maybe photographing the street procession at an amazing Indian wedding in Varanasi, Rajasthan.
Relaxed, real, story, life, family.
Consistently getting wonderful feedback from brides & grooms as they look back through their wedding photographs. A single event? Being announced the winner of the Guardian Award at the awards ceremony.
Prioritise! Get the venue booked up, then photographer ;) So many people get in touch to book and they have left it too late.
The bride, groom and celebrant doing a shot of tequila together straight after "you may kiss the bride!"
Firstly, let's meet up for a coffee or wine! Then, nearer your wedding, let's meet again (if you like!). This is all personal, it's important for us both to know each other. This way, you will get the best photographs. After your wedding, you can expect to receive your photographs within 1-2 weeks.
There is no number 1 photo. Every wedding is different - we don't know yet what will happen that will make yours significant, but I will capture it.
I was asked to take a shot of an apple core left by the groom on the back of the toilet. Apparently, he always eats apples.
I love umbrellas!
Always into photography....but how I got into wedding photography? I got in touch with a high-flying wedding photographer after reading an article about him in the Guardian, looking for some experience. He replied, saying that in 2 days he had received 77 enquiries from people like me, asking if they could shadow him at a wedding. He later got back to me, saying I stood out from the bunch and invited me along on a couple of weddings. We are now very good friends and I owe him a lot!
