What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Military wedding & groom & groomsmen in full military attire - except the best man who was civilian... so at the speeches the groom presented him with a plastic sword, helmet & sash...
Describe your typical process with a couple.
am I available #1... a meeting to hear their plans & requirements, show my work in print ( still the best presentation option ) - 2 months prior to the day a pre-wedding meeting, confirm details of the day - wedding - honeymoon I'm creating proof album - once they ok any changes - album to printers & 4 weeks later they have their album & digital images.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Candid & un-posed natural shot of them together.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Bride & groom lived in Robin Hoods Bay & wanted a photo of them the sea & the cliffs.... they chose a spot & we took the shot... it was OK though lacking a little umph, I thought... I saw the street, the backdrop & said I'll catch you up I've just got to change a lens.. I fibbed.. I waited for them to do something & captured on of my most commented upon photos - its in my photos here.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
not to worry, we can create some fabulous images inside too & maybe later we can use the rain & wet ground for something special also.
Describe how you got into photography.
One of my brothers is a qualified photographer & though I was always interested it was with the first good DSLR Digital cameras that really got me inspired.
