Paul Bryant Photography Full Description
Photography should be enjoyable on either side of the lens, and my shoots have a light-hearted touch – We work quickly and professionally, yet keep things intentionally informal. A completely relaxed and cheery atmosphere isn’t just fitting for the occasion, it’s essential for great images too. Based between Stamford and Peterborough we are perfectly placed to photograph your wedding whether it be in the Midlands or London. Our sole aim is to present you with a perfect visual story of your day. As a documentary photographer I will capture every precious moment, from the tiny but so-important details you’ve spent months planning, to the natural, candid expressions of happiness on the faces of your family and friends. I love catching those intimate portraits that will preserve the emotions of your day forever. Often you and your guests won’t even know I’m there.

Stapleford Park Wedding

It truly was a pleasure to have Paul and Sue as our wedding photographers. From the very start when we met them, they made us feel comfortable and at ease, as if we had known them for years. They met us at Stapleford Park on a couple of occasions to go over examples, ideas, and plans. They also conducted an ‘engagement shoot’ to get us used to being in front of the camera, to test out angles and locations, and so they could get to know us. Paul and Sue know their business, they are professional, very creative and work so well together. Their talent for getting the best photos was immediately clear; they also have a flair for getting the more personal and slightly unusual shots, while avoiding anything cheesy or amateur. Our wedding was a very intimate occasion and they fitted in naturally. They directed us where required for the formal photos, guided us for the unique ones and blended perfectly into our wedding party to capture the opportunistic shots. They were so patient as we sorted through the hundreds of amazing photos and helped us to design our photo album. They delivered it in person and re-lived the day with us page by page. The album was more than we could ever have imagined at the start of this journey. Paul and Sue are a lovely couple, they made us feel so comfortable and delivered well beyond our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend them. Whether you are having a small, intimate occasion or a larger wedding with all your family and friends, Paul and Sue will capture the special moments with flair and passion and provide you with quality photos to treasure. We cannot thank them enough for their hard work.

Describe how you got into photography.

I have always been fascinated by the idea of capturing moments in time, I’ve been working for prestigious brands and shooting people, locations, weddings and events, from the Arctic Circle to the heat of the desert, for more than 20 years. I’ve learned a lot in that time about constructing the perfect image. I’ve also learned there is no greater privilege than capturing a perfect day and being part of a couple’s enjoyment, love and laughter. There is one opportunity to reflect the venue, faces, events; the details and enchantment of the whole day. This is not a responsibility to be fumbled. But nor is it an occasion for stuffy, lifeless photography. My career began with dedicated shoots for editorial magazines, including location and celebrity portraits for the UK’s best-selling publications. Capturing personality and preserving an all-too-fleeting atmosphere are the lifeblood of my photography. Book us for your wedding and we bring all this experience to bear. I’m a qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and I always strive for perfection, but I favour a light touch and a gentle presence. I can work with your ideas or entirely under my own direction, and am fortunate in sharing my passion with – and having the full assistance of – my wife, Sue further ensuring the seamless running of your shoot. I give a sensitive contribution to the day and deliver an elegant, subtle and timeless visual story. I have travelled the world in pursuit of my passion. Today, working out of Stamford, Peterborough, and London, I am available to document the magic, beauty and joy of your wedding anywhere in the country, or even further afield.
