Paul and Nanda - Wedding Photography

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would without hesitation. Not only are they unbelievable photographers and an amazing duo, but they are wonderful people and we feel really lucky to have got to know them a little and to have had them photograph the best day of our lives. Ahead of the wedding, we did an engagement session which was brilliant as it got any awkwardness about being in front of the camera out of the way, we got to spend just over an hour with Paul and Nanda so we weren't meeting in person for the first time on the big day. On the day, we couldn't have asked for more. They were so relaxed, they blended in perfectly, putting us and everyone else completely at ease, and when we were looking at the pictures, we couldn't even remember necessarily seeing them there when those particular moments were happening. It was particularly lovely having such a calming presence in Nanda when me and my bridesmaids were getting ready, it was just like having another person as part of the bridal party! They helped everything run so smoothly so we got all the photos we wanted without impacting on the day and ensuring we had plenty of time with guests as well as getting all the photos we wanted. They didn't make us stand in awkward or uncomfortable poses, they just let us be ourselves and it was all so natural, we basically all just chatted and laughed through doing our couple photos. We received a preview of over 150 photos just two days after the wedding on our way to Barcelona, and I cried for most of the flight at how beautiful all of the photos were. We couldn't believe there were more to come in a few weeks time. When the rest arrived, we were completely blown away. We were transported back to our wedding day, reliving it all and seeing things we didn't see on the day! The hardest job is now picking which photos to put up and get printed. Paul and Nanda created such beautiful memories for us that will be cherished forever. We feel very lucky we were able to have Paul and Nanda photograph our wedding, not just because of how amazing the photos are, but because they are so down to earth and friendly, that I don't think I'd have trusted anyone else to do as good of a job as they did, and do it with such ease. If you're considering booking Paul and Nanda, we would absolutely recommend doing so. You'll have an amazing experience and amazing wedding photographs to go with it!

We have only glowing things to say about Paul and Nanda and their work! If you read no further just know you should absolutely hire Paul and Nanda, they are masters of their craft. Portfolios on their website speak for themselves so I will just say they are brilliant professionals to work with and very lovely too. I was drawn in by a beautiful selection of pictures on instagram. I was hooked when I saw that entire albums had the same feeling - as they put it, they create warm and romantic narratives and take photographs that bring back the emotion and feeling of your special day. They delivered on that promise for us 100%. They go out of their way to capture little moments you wouldn't normally see in wedding photos, perfect precious intimate moments, and they do it without you ever realising they're there. We are not people who like having our photos taken so this whole process of wedding photography made us mildly anxious. We didn't want to feel like we were standing in front of a camera, really at all, and with their magic, I didn't feel my usual awkward self once! Paul and Nanda were just wonderful, making us feel at ease, shooting us so naturally, just in our element, no fuss or direction. In fact I quite liked going off for a wander with them before we went for lunch, and for our sunset shots - just peaceful minutes in a full-on day. They were smiling all day and our guests were so complimentary of them for just being genuinely nice people. We enjoyed our zooms calls in the months leading up to the wedding, we got to meet them and feel comfortable with them during those. Their warmth and kindness radiated through the screens and it was just the same in person. I felt safe in their hands as soon as they'd arrived - they were the first vendors to get to the venue on our day. And I'm beyond grateful they gave me the courage to make the call to have the wedding outside, I'd been too afraid of rain. They checked all the forecasts and thank goodness I listened and had faith. We had a perfect ceremony on the lawn. They ensured things were well planned before the actual day, understand our wishes, day timings and photo lists etc and we allocated people to sort those, so no one had to ask me question on my wedding day, bliss. We wanted photos of pure joy and fun from our happy day. We wanted (us obviously, and) our guests and the vibe of good times to be the star of the show, and Paul and Nanda gave us just that in such a stunning way. I can't believe we received an edited set of 100 photos that same weekend. I was also amazed by the variety of photos we received in our final 1000+ images, we had their gorgeous signature intense colour shots of course but there were also beautiful black and white images, and flash photos too. I wasn't expecting that when we signed up, such a lovely surprise. We are glad in our decision to have a pair of photographers rather than a single person because one of them was able to go off and shoot different things/people, so we have captured precious memories of our friends having fun and we get to see bits of the wedding we never got to experience on the day. Personally for us that was a far better investment than having any else like a videographer, we love having so many photos of everyone enjoying themselves. The selection of photos I've added doesn't do them justice in capturing the whole wedding party and as I wanted to respect the privacy of our guests and not upload their images, but just trust me.

Paul and Nanda were the photographers for our wedding and we were thrilled with the results. They were professional yet friendly and approachable. Before the day, they made time to understand the style of photographs we would like and we were able to provide a list of the shots that we had in mind. On the day, they were calm, discrete and professional. They were unflappable when there was limited time between the ceremony and the reception - and yet during this time were able to produce some stunning shots (some of our favourites from the day). They were determined to get the best pictures for us to remember our day. The finished articles captured the feeling of our day and the memories beautifully! Thank you Paul and Nanda!

I cannot emphasise enough how thankful we are that we chose Paul and Nanda to do our wedding photography. They really listened to the kind of photos we wanted and delivered way higher than our expectations! I expected to always have the photography in the back of my mind during the day, worrying whether they were capturing the moments we asked for, or feeling awkward if they were in the way. I couldn’t have been more wrong! I hardly saw them throughout the day, but when I looked properly they were always in the perfect place, catching the joy and laughter of our guests and ourselves. My husband and I had the pleasure to have Paul and Nanda as our photographers at our wedding in Germany.
