A valentines day wedding during a blizzard in Iceland!
Candid, Rock n Roll, Laid back, Engaging, Personal.
My connection with all my couples.
Embrace the planning as much as the day itself.
A bride wearing her Grandmothers vintage veil.
For me, it's all about relationship building.
My main aim on your wedding day, is for me to hang around with your guests, and for them to ask me "how do you know the couple? Have you been friends for long?"
This means that I've done my job of us getting to know each other enough that we can be ourselves and relaxed around each other! When we reach this point, you'll let your guard down around me, and instead of being worried about the photographer taking photos of you, you'll just be in your own world, in each others company, and that's when the real emotions and magic happens.
There's no one photograph that is a "one size fits all." It's my job to create with you, to get the moments that showcase your unique relationship.
That would have to be on top of a mountain in Iceland!
A good pair of wellies and a sense of adventure! After you've dealt with a blizzard, whats a little rain?
When I was young, I would go on nature walks with my mother and grandmother, and they would teach me to observe not just the mountains or the forrests, but the ants that worked on the blades of grass at my feet. This attention to detail is what made me fall in love with photography. Starting with analogue 35mm film as a teenager made me appreciate every frame that I took, and to make sure everything was perfect in the shot before pressing the shutter.
