What is your most memorable wedding?
I did a spontaneous wedding in Limassol whilst on holiday in Cyprus! The couple were super laid back and really great to work with, and it was honestly the best wedding I've been to.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Timeless, classic, airy, elegant, eternal
What about your business are you most proud of?
I am most proud of how far I've come since 2020. I started out with a basic camera and no idea what I was doing, and now I'm internationally exhibited and published.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
If you don't want something or you want something, do it. Don't want somebody there? Don't have them there. Your wedding day is about you, nobody else.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Personalised guest books. Best thing ever!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My typical process is to do an initial consultation and get a sense of what the couple wants from their wedding day, understand what they're like as a couple, and make sure they're happy with me. I then show up, take amazing photos, and aim for a sneak peek within 24 hours of the wedding. If the couple wants any changes made at that point I make the changes, and then deliver the final gallery within two weeks of the wedding.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The moment when the groom sees his bride. Or the first kiss as a married couple.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
At my Limassol wedding I had the bride and groom kiss and everyone else hide each other's eyes. Absolutely brilliant.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas! Honestly, they're so cool and make great props.
Describe how you got into photography.
I was actually doing a Level 2 in Hair and Makeup and my husband got me a camera so that I could take good photos of my work. That then spawned my love of photography, and soon I was being asked to take photos of people. The rest, as they say, is history.
