What is your photography style?
At the heart of my approach is a blend of documentary photography, creative portraiture and a rich, filmic feel. The couples I've had the pleasure to photograph describe it as emotional, energetic and timeless. I love capturing the genuine moments that unfold naturally throughout your wedding, from the big emotions to the laughter and little details you might otherwise miss. I also create relaxed, beautifully composed portraits, giving you gentle direction when needed while leaving plenty of room for the day to unfold.
We’re not very confident in front of the camera. Is that a problem?
Not at all! You don't need to know how to pose or have any experience in front of a camera. I'll guide you when needed and help you feel comfortable, without making the experience feel awkward or overly staged. My aim is for you to relax, enjoy spending time together and have photographs that feel like you.
Do you take natural, candid photographs as well as posed portraits?
Absolutely. A big part of my approach is observing what's happening around me and anticipating those genuine moments as they unfold. Alongside that, I'll make time for relaxed, creative portraits of the two of you, so your final collection has a lovely balance of real moments, connection and beautifully composed images.
How do you make sure we get to enjoy our wedding day?
I approach your wedding as a celebration, not a photo shoot. I'll work around the flow of your day, capturing the moments as they happen and keeping portrait time relaxed and purposeful. I'll offer guidance when it's helpful, but I won't keep you away from your guests for longer than necessary. The aim is to capture your story while letting you enjoy living it.
How much does your wedding photography service cost?
My wedding photography starts from £1,499, with coverage tailored to your plans, priorities and the kind of celebration you're having. You can explore the available options on my website, and if you're unsure what would suit your day, I'm always happy to talk through your plans and help you work out what's right for you.
Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding photo shoots?
Yes! An engagement shoot is a lovely opportunity to celebrate this chapter together and have some beautiful photographs taken before the wedding. It's also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and get to know how I work, so everything feels more familiar on the day.
Do you travel to weddings outside Leicestershire?
Yes. I'm based in Leicestershire and photograph weddings across the Midlands and beyond. If you're getting married further afield, get in touch with your venue and date, and we can discuss the arrangements for your day.
When will we receive our wedding photographs?
I select and edit your photographs myself to create a cohesive collection that reflects the atmosphere and story of your wedding. I generally have it done a month after your wedding but I'll let you know the expected delivery timescale when we discuss your booking, so you'll know what to expect after the big day.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. If you'd love something tangible to revisit and share for years to come, handcrafted wedding albums are available from £649. An album brings your photographs together into a lasting keepsake, telling the story of your day in a way that's lovely to look through again and again.
