Working in my pj's ;)
Don't listen to anyone else's advice ;) Do what makes you happy. Don't let Uncle Bob take your wedding photos!
We have a chat, usually online, sometimes we FaceTime and sometimes we meet for a coffee. A quote is sent online and if you're happy, you sign the contract online and pay the deposit. Job done until nearer the wedding day. Then we will finalise a timeline and a 'bucket list' of important photos. Different photos are important to different people so it's nice to be clear from the outset.
Confetti! And a selfie. Sorry, that's two.
Let it go! Let the rain go, let the dress go, be brave, get out there. No regrets!
By accident! I got a fancy camera when I had my youngest daughter and everyone was very complimentary and said I should start a business so I did! Weddings was even more accidental. A family friend hired me as an Uncle Bob (I've mentioned Bob before. Its a term us 'togs' use to describe relatives with massive cameras thinking they are professional wedding photographers!) and the rest is history.
