What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding would have to be the one where we had drinks and afternoon tea nibbles on a boat, cruising down the Bristol Channel on a hot summers day.....perfect!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Calming, fun, flexible, non-invasive, thoughtful.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my flexible approach to customers needs on the day of their wedding and the relationship we build in the run up to the big day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do what makes you happy - it is your day after all!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Exchanging gifts and letters that really mean something personal to that couple on the morning of the wedding.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initially I will have a face to face meeting, to say 'hi' and get the early wedding details. Then we'll have a get together a month or so before the wedding to discuss the ins and outs and have a free pre-wedding Photoshoot to get them used to the camera and my style of getting the shots needed. Then depending on the package agreed I will see bride for 'getting ready' shots and my second shooter, he will see groom on the morning of the wedding.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The 'I adore you' looking at each other shot.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The shots on the boat with the couple were certainly the most challenging.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Lots of umbrellas and a good space indoors.
Describe how you got into photography.
I have loved photography since I was a little girl and started the business because friends kept asking me to take pictures of their families.
