What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Find suppliers, like me, that can manage their service totally. A wedding has a lot of moving parts, and I need to know what will happen in wet weather, what happens if timings slip etc and then manage it on the day with no fuss.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I will often start the discussion by email or Messenger or Instagram. At some point we may have a quick zoom, or the couple may visit my studio to discuss details. Many simply book immediately by email. Either way, we have a full consultation meeting nearer the wedding to discuss all the things I need to make your day easy, flow smoothly and simply give you the most beautiful photos possible.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I always like to hold off on group shots to see if we get a break in the weather. Then jump on this and get as many outdoor shots as possible. If it does not stop raining, then I will often set-up some amazing rain shots with flash and umbrellas. I always tell my couples: do not worry about the weather from a photography point of view. My mission is to get you stunning photos regardless and that's what I will do.
