Based in the heart of Lancashire, Neil and Diane are a husband-and-wife photography team passionate about capturing the genuine moments of your wedding day. Their relaxed, unobtrusive style helps you and your guests feel comfortable, so they can beautifully document the laughter, tears, and love that make your celebration truly unique.
Neil and Diane know every wedding is different. They take the time to get to know you as a couple, understanding exactly what you want—and don’t want—from your wedding photos. With over ten years of experience, they blend seamlessly into your day, often becoming like family to your guests. This means your photos will reflect the natural flow and emotion of your celebration.
Neil Hornby Photography focuses on creating natural, stylish, and timeless images that tell the story of your wedding day. They have a special appreciation for black and white photography, using it thoughtfully to highlight emotion and narrative rather than just for artistic effect. As a husband-and-wife team, they offer a unique dual perspective, capturing moments from both male and female viewpoints.
Our first same sex wedding, the amount of love & emotion from everyone at the wedding for the couple still gives me goose bumps on the back of my neck
Natural Caring Reportage/Documentary
Our ability to capture the character and the special moments from a wedding day and the care we put into our clients weddings.
Talk to us, we are not just wedding photographer, we care and can really help in so many areas.
One of the favorite and special moments is out of sight of the wedding party + its captured by Diane is the last moments just before the bride enters
When a couple contact us, its often via an email, ideally we give them a call, where we can find more about what the are looking for. This can be followed up with the two of us, meeting the two of them, where we get to know each other what they like, what they dont like. This gives them the trust in us and what we offer.

I got into photography through a passion for art, painting and drawing. After purchasing my first professional camera and realizing i needed to learn how to use it. I signed up for a National certificate in photography where it all began, and two years later, I gained a double distinction and top of the class, doing my final project on documentary wedding photography, and I have never looked back.
