What is your most memorable wedding?
All of them are memorable in their own right for different reasons. Thats not to sound cheesy, its true, but my 'most' memorable would have to be Laura & Jamie. Both are great friends & to make their day really special I knew I had to raise the bar, knowing both as I do! Both of them were so chuffed and looking back through the photos afterwards left sweat in my eyes...
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Timeless, relaxed, professional, meticulous, quality.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm most proud of my hard earned reputation for capturing the real emotion in people. These kind words left by people keep kicking me to raise my levels continually.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
First and foremost, be happy with your service providers as people. Finding you've nailed the right price but can't get on with someone is likely to lead to problems.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A hand carved wooden bench, with a carved message this will stay with people for decades.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Speaking informally, leading to the booking then maybe a pre wedding shoot followed by the big day. Post processing and album design, album delivery (preferable in person), punctuated throughout by chatting and getting know the bride, groom and guests. Knowing as much as I can about you and your guests helps me capture the right images and get a feel for the mood and your tastes. That is priceless.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A spontaneous photo that cannot ever be recreated in the same wedding, something like the confetti, the walkout or the first dance. You'd struggle to make them happen with the same emotion ever again. #1 The walkout.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Patience and a smile! Its still your wedding day, water is only water!
Skin is waterproof😄.
Describe how you got into photography.
photographing people has been a job for just over 10yrs, but I’ve been self employed for 6of those in the commercial sector.
