What is your most memorable wedding?
Ohh, that's tough as we really have enjoyed them all, but if I had to pick just one, it would be the day we had in Abbotsbury Gardens. A very colourful event and lots of real emotion.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Contemporary, Candid, Natural, Artistic, Personal
What about your business are you most proud of?
Jane and I work seamlessly together and we are often told that we never get in the way of the flow of the big day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
In the run up, plan every last detail. On the day, go with the flow :)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Tears at the alter.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We communicate through messages to establish their requirements. Then we meet before the wedding to ensure we have all the details, including anything that may be a surprise, on the day. On the day we speak to a point of contact to make sure we are fully informed if things don't go quite to plan and react accordingly.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The happy couple shot is the one.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The happy couple in wellies, in a storm at the top of a pebble beach!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Having shot several weddings around Weymouth and Portland, we are well versed in dealing with wind and rain. It's a shame when it happens, but it adds fun and it's all part of the day. Again, go with the flow.
Describe how you got into photography.
I am also a landscape photographer and have been for many years, but like a lot of photographers, wedding started with friends asking me to shoot their wedding day. Since Jane got involved, I really enjoy the work as we shoot similar styles, but from different angles.
