Every couple’s love story is different, and our approach reflects that. We focus on making you feel comfortable and at ease, so your photos capture genuine emotions and natural interactions as they happen. Our goal is to document your celebration with as little disruption as possible, letting you enjoy every moment with your friends and family while we quietly capture the memories.
We blend a relaxed, candid, and colourful style with a professional, timeless finish. Combining fine art and photojournalistic techniques, we create natural-looking images that will still feel fresh and beautiful years from now. While we offer gentle guidance to help you look your best, we avoid stiff poses—preferring to capture you simply being yourselves. Whenever possible, we use natural light to enhance the warmth and authenticity of your photos.
Emotional. Honest. Warm. Romantic. Contemporary.
Make time for photography for the two of you on your day - this doesn't mean hours and hours, but think of it as a time on your wedding day where you can both get away and just be together - while the photographer takes pictures discreetly! Having this time scheduled in your timeline means that you don't feel rushed, or that the photography is taking over your day.
One of my couples organised a second cake for the bride's son so that he would feel a special part of the day. They also had a cake cutting for him to give him his own moment which was quite a nice touch.
At the point of booking, I would organise for us to have a chat either on Zoom or phone or face-to-face to talk through your day and to learn more about what's important to you as a couple photography-wise. Then I would send you my couple's questionnaire to get all of the details of the day nailed down, this is normally about 8 weeks before the wedding, then around 4-6 weeks before the wedding we would meet or catch up remotely to talk through final arrangements for the day. Obviously I am available to my couples to answer any questions or concerns you might have in the in between times.
At the time of booking, I ask my couples for a deposit of £200 to secure their day.
My favourite image is always the first dance. This is often the one where the couple are not aware of the photographer; they are very relaxed; their favourite song is playing; and it's the culmination of their day; for that reason it's often a very authentic emotional moment.
It's a shame not to get outdoor shots that incorporate the wider scene of your venue, so I would recommend some very quick outdoor portraits with lovely big umbrellas - I always carry two white golf umbrellas just in case for this purpose!
