Catch up with a cuppa on me at my studio, this can be before they even book. Then lots of planning, they can have as many meetings as they like. If I haven’t been to a venue before I like to visit before the day and also introduce myself to the venue team. Lots of communication is key to getting things right for everyone. I always arrive early on the day and never leave until I check with the couple they are happy and don’t need any more photos. It is then time for editing, with a 8-12 week turnaround to their final gallery. All album designing is then done with them after they have viewed their photographs.

Wellies and big umbrellas! You can capture some amazing photos in the rain! I always have umbrellas in my car and lots of other things to stay as dry as possible. This is also one of the reasons I do location checks just in case we need to do photos indoors.
