Milnerpics photography Full Description
I use modern technology to produce images that I create by using manual settings. This is what sets me apart. Most wedding photographers use the "Auto mode" whereas I use a large knowledge of my camera to create my images. My lighting technique is different to most and I also have a trick that helps in churches, I will happily discuss this at a wedding consultation. I always strive to be different and create images that are unique. I don't just use my camera to do this. I plan shots in-camera that I can be creative within post-processing after the wedding. Being a part of the wedding is very important to me rather than just being a guy there with a camera. Becoming friends with the clients it's a great thing to do and with my laid back attitude, it helps people feel at ease very quickly. I also have a habit of going the extra mile and always find a way to surprise my clients. A shot they weren't expecting or a gift after wedding is just a couple of examples.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Lee Milner
Hi, I come highly recommended with a very relaxed and friendly attitude. I also have a very in-depth knowledge of cameras meaning I can use the fully manual mode to capture photos in any condition with any light. I am a confident photographer that looks for a more modern twist in photography with images that make me stand out, thus giving you something special to keep forever.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A reception at a golf course with the couple riding round in golf carts

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Creative, Modern, Fun, Stunning, Advanced

What about your business are you most proud of?

Being on the front pages of local papers

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

When looking for a photographer, ask if they shoot in Auto or manual? You will be amazed by the amount of "So called" wedding photographers I have spoken to that just shoot using Auto/programme modes and don't understand the camera they are using let alone able to use it to their full potential, resulting in terrible results. A simple question like this can save your special day being ruined.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Wooden logs with carved hearts in them

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I have a flexible approach. I do pre-wedding consultations for free as I like to offer a more personal service. I can run through the day with you and find out what you need and what services I can offer you. Engagement shoots are also free if the wedding is booked through me. This offers us time together with no charge or obligation and can be done at a location to suit you. Making it easier for you to get to know me and gives you a chance to see how I work so that you are completely satisfied.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Apart from the obvious first kiss, it has to be family photos. Sometimes it can contain people which later in life are not around anymore so they become very sentimental.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Bride and groom riding a golf buggy.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Getting creative with clear umbrellas. These are great for rainy days.

Describe how you got into photography.

As a young boy when my father brought me a zenith 35mm film camera. I gave it up, but got back into the world of digital photography around 10 years ago. I am now a full time professional, I also run a large photography group of over 400+ members and on top of this, I teach both photography and editing software applications. Who knows where the future might lead. All I know is I'm excited and intrigued to see where this road takes me.
