Hopefully the next one!
Natural, Fun, Unimposing, Professional, Experienced
Make sure you get along with your photographer before booking, either by meeting up for an initial consultation, having a Zoom meeting or speaking over the phone. You are inviting them to be a part of your wedding day, and so you need to feel comfortable & relaxed around them (as do your family & friends!).
Also, be realistic with your timings in terms of what and when you're going to plan for throughout the day ... always go generous!
It's all about communication & relationship! We have an initial consultation, followed up with detailed info on timings, specific shots the couple would like, and special "events' or surprises they may have planned either for one another or guests. I will then make contact about a week before the wedding with my final detailed plan based on the info supplied, and then follow this with a phone call a day or two before the day itself, which is super helpful all round.
You can't book or plan for the weather, so the best approach is to not look at the weather forecast in the week leading up as it is so changeable! You can't change the weather, but you can change how you feel towards it! Whatever happens, you will have an AMAZING day!!
