Michelle Huggleston is a wedding photographer who specializes in capturing genuine love stories with a fun, relaxed, and creative style. If you’re a couple looking to break away from traditional wedding photography and want your day documented with bold, joyful, and authentic images, Michelle’s approach is a perfect match. Her work is modern, colourful, and stylish, designed especially for laid-back couples who love to have fun and celebrate their unique story.
Michelle creates a comfortable, easygoing atmosphere that helps everyone feel at ease. Many couples say having her there feels like having a friend with a camera. She arrives with enthusiasm, takes time to connect with you and your guests, and brings a calm energy that lets real moments shine through. Her goal is to make your photo sessions enjoyable and stress-free, so you can focus on celebrating your day.
Michelle’s photography focuses on the authentic moments that make your wedding day unique. From quiet glances and happy tears to bursts of laughter and confetti celebrations, she documents your day as it naturally unfolds. While she loves candid, documentary-style shots, she also understands the importance of posed family photos and works closely with you to make that process smooth and easy.
Each wedding is unique and fun. And I love them all. I get to work with the best couples.
I felt really lucky to be asked to photograph my friends weddings, they're twin sisters, who had a joint wedding in Hay-on-Wye. It was an honour to photograph their day, and what an incredible day it was!
creative, colourful, stylish, relaxed, fun.
Enjoy the planning, to really trust your suppliers. And with photography you have to love the photographers work, but you also have to get along really well. You're with each other for a large portion of your day, so make sure you choose someone you also really like!
After getting an enquiry, I suggest meeting each couple for a consultation. I like to keep these relaxed and fairly informal. We meet over coffee (or a cheeky glass of wine!) I bring my albums for you to look through my previous work, and I get to hear all your wedding plans. I love talking weddings!
Confetti, hands down! Guests love to take part, even those that have avoided the camera all day. It's such a joyful moment, full of colour and full of fun.
To keep smiling! Unfortunately this does happen, but you can have so much fun with it! Just enjoy your day, rain or shine.
I got into photography when I was choosing my A Levels. I didn't quite know what subjects to choose, so copied one of my friends. I ended up falling in love with photography, and studied it as a degree. I then graduated with a First Class BA (hons). After graduating I assisted a few photographers, and thought I could offer something different. So here I am going solo!
