Photographing a wedding on the stunning, tiny island of Kizilada off the coast of Turkey. 3 days of gorgeous guests, a gorgeous couple resulted in a set of epic photos from their wedding & party!
Epic, elegant, fabulous, hardworking, thoughtful
My most excellent bike trailer and wheelie case that I sometimes travel to weddings on!
Get your suppliers locked in and give yourself the opportunity to get to know them so you can relax and enjoy your wedding knowing things are being taken care of by professionals.
Fabulous Multi cultural wedding. With guests gathering before the ceremony in the grounds not knowing where the ceremony would happen. Gujarati drummers appeared and led the guests through a wooded area to a clearing where a makeshift ceremony took place with all the guests circling the couple. More music after the ceremony led guest to the reception in some fabulous teepees.
A fabulous set of exciting and original personal touches revealed some thrilling & exciting surprises.
We should chat over a Zoom or FaceTime call where I'll ask you about your plans and I'll give you some ideas about how I'll photography your wedding. It's important we get along as we'll spend time pre wedding planning things and then a fair bit of time in each others company on the day of your wedding! If we do choose to work together you get my mobile number and email to get in touch whenever you need to ask anything. I'll put together a plan for the photography for the day and we can update this continually up til your wedding. You get a contract so it's all official!
We should meet at the venue if possible to scope out some great locations for photos.
Everyone is individual so there's not single photo that every couple needs. I'd always recommend a portrait photo of the newlyweds though at some point during the day
I have a rainy day guarantee so if it rains on your wedding day I'll reshoot your portrait photos and your partner in your wedding attire on another date after your wedding. That being said it's not all doom and gloom if it rains. I've forum that rain presents some fun photo opportunities so we can still make the most of it on your wedding day also
Stories are such an important part of how we relate to our world through our memory and imagination. I can remember my mum reading ‘Ferdinand The Bull’ to me at night as a child. Subsequently I can recall the freedom that reading then brought to me. It gave me the chance to explore infinite new universes through fiction.
Perhaps unsurprisingly I discovered that both writing & telling stories can be just as rewarding. At secondary school I first developed my interest in photography; telling the story of my family holiday or school performances (my poor friends) using still images, and then creating a record on the school wall or in an album held such magical storytelling possibilities for me..!
So here I am a few (!) years later. I’m fortunate enough to be using my camera to tell peoples’ unique wedding stories, and I love it!
I consider myself a very fortunate storyteller
