Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Unique, Natural, Fun, Friendly, Professional.
What about your business are you most proud of?
The time I finally managed to become full time doing what I love!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try not to stress! Stress can cause a lot of friction on you and your partner. Things may get a little hectic no matter how organised you are, but once you take that first step on the aisle and see you partner standing there, all your worries will disappear.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Before a couple books me I like to meet up with them first, have a good chat to get to know them more as a couple and to get a lot of detail on what they would like to be captured on their day. If they are happy and would like to book me, then we will arrange a free engagement shoot for them so they get a chance to work with me before their day to make them feel a lot more comfortable and familiar with how I work.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
To introduce my glass ball into my wedding photography. It has given an amazing effect and a great and creative new prospective on my images.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Wellies and colourful umbrellas! No one will see your wellies under your dress and it will keep your shoes clean for when you go inside. I say colourful umbrellas because no one wants to turn up at a wedding and see dark and dull umbrellas all over the place. Even if it rains, it can still be a colourful and magical experience for you both.
Describe how you got into photography.
I started photography when I was serving in the Army, trying out different styles until I finally found the one that I loved. During my downtime I managed to get a gig as a seconder shooter for a local wedding photographer and from that day I was hooked! I have dedicated over 8 years since then to my wedding photography and I can finally say, since the start of 2022, I have become full time in my trade and I love every minute of it!
