A wedding we filmed in Northumberland still sticks with me — not because of how big or extravagant it was, but because of how natural everything felt. The couple were so present, the guests were genuinely enjoying the day, and nothing felt forced. The light, the laughter, the little quiet in-between moments — it all just came together in such a real way. We didn’t have to over-direct anything. We just captured it as it happened, and it turned out beautifully.

The reactions. When a couple watches their film and messages us saying, “We cried, we laughed, we forgot the cameras were even there…” — that’s the bit that never gets old. I’m proud that we create something that actually means something to people, long after the wedding buzz fades.

Don’t over-plan every second. Some of the best moments we capture happen in-between — the laughter, the glances, the little bits you don’t expect. Trust your suppliers, take a deep breath, and just be in it. That’s when the magic happens.

A couple surprised each other with voice notes they recorded privately the night before the wedding. We used them in the edit over the footage — and it honestly gave everyone chills. It wasn’t flashy, but it was so personal and raw. That’s what it’s all about for me.

We like to keep things relaxed and personal. It usually starts with a casual chat — video call, voice note, whatever works — just to get to know you and your vibe. From there, we tailor the package to your day and check in closer to the date with a timeline. On the day itself, we blend into the background, capturing everything as it unfolds — with just enough direction to make it feel effortless.

A slow shutter shot where the couple runs through the frame, slightly blurred in motion — it’s raw, cinematic, and full of energy. There’s something about the movement that feels more alive than a still pose. It captures the chaos, the joy, and the feeling of "we actually did it" all in one frame.

One couple asked us to capture their first look not with them facing each other, but standing back to back, reading handwritten letters they’d written the night before. It was quiet, emotional, and incredibly personal — and it made for one of the most meaningful shots we've taken. Not staged, just real emotion.

Lean into it! Some of our favourite shots have been in the rain — with umbrellas, reflections, or even just embracing it and running through it together. Plus, rain always brings out a romantic, almost cinematic mood. Just have a plan B for locations and trust your team to make it work.

Honestly? It started with filming friends and travel memories for fun — then somewhere along the way, people started asking me to do it for their weddings. The more I shot, the more I realised how much I loved storytelling, especially when it's real and unfiltered. What began as a side hobby became a full-on passion — and I’ve never looked back.
