What is your most memorable wedding?
EVERY wedding is memorable for different reasons, and I've been privileged to work at some amazing venues. From a Scottish Castle wedding (with no roof - yes it rained! ) to racing across a golf course with a bride and groom in a golf buggy !
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Friendly. Professional. Artistic. Fun. Visionary
What about your business are you most proud of?
The personable touch. I've stayed in touch with virtually all the couples I've worked with. I love the fact that they get to know me, and trust in what I do.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
On your wedding day - EVERY hour - disappear with your new husband/wife or 5 minutes, and have some alone time.
It goes SO fast on the day - take time for you, and to enjoy the day
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Probably the most unusual was the Nigerian wedding I photographed recently. I received a towel as a "favour" with the couples faces printed on it :)
Plus their first dance involved them being showered with Nigerian dollars
A real personal and unusual touch

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I think there are several, from the 1st look, to the 1st kiss, to the 1st dance - but it's sometimes the natural candid pictures that really tell the story
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I've been asked to take pictures on a carousel before now - which is always good when you suffer from dizzy spells....
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Well, I carry around 10 clear umbrellas in the boot of my car to EVERY wedding. you never know what may happen !
If it does rain - don't let it worry you. Go with it - there are some exceptional pictures that can be taken in the rain (or just after)
Describe how you got into photography.
I've always loved photographing landscapes and sunsets from an early age, and used to pinch my dads camera (yes the old 35mm film one)
I soon realised that this was the profession for me - but it took a while before I was able to take the plunge and do this full time (kids, family and a mortgage meant a lot planning !) However, it was the best move I ever made
