I wont force you to stand and pose, I will just prompt and guide you into beautifully candid images that feel like you. We had our special day on April 19th, Gavin and Mel was just so fantastic! Already seen a sneak peek of a few of our photos and we couldn’t be anymore happier with them 😍 They honestly was so lovely to work with and it was lovely to have them as part of our day. So friendly, absolutely such a laugh and went the extra mile to make our photo memories so beautiful

Mel was really relaxed

Mel was brilliant. She was very laid back and helpful, offered useful advice for the timings of the day about when the speeches might work best , and checked in several times before the wedding to ensure they knew what we wanted. On the day, Mel was really relaxed and captured candid, natural photos perfectly as we all some more formal with family. Really good value for money and would definitely recommend.

Her warmth and professionalism shone through.

We had our Wedding reception at the Tiverton Hotel last month and had Mel as our photographer. She arrived on time and did a super job of recording the event. Everyone said that she mixed with all the guests and took many unofficial pics as well as the formal ones. She then sent the link for all the pictures and we were delighted with them. All in all we chose wisely, her warmth and professionalism shone through.

She is a really lovely person

WHAT IS THE BOOKING PROCESS?

You contact me and we have a chat about your wedding and idea. Once you have decided you’d like me to capture your day, I will ask for some details for writing your contract, once you have agreed and signed, I will send over an invoice for the 25% deposit. Once this is paid your date is secured! The remaining balance is due 1 month before your wedding day. I will also send over as questionnaire to get lots of details to help us plan together.

HOW DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS?

My approach is very relaxed, I want to be as unobtrusive as possible and fit into your day so I can capture it from the inside! I aim to get all the emotions, from big ones to the in between as well as preserving your day exactly as it was. I wont drag you out of the real moments to pose for others.

I will still do group photos if that is your wish, as well as some portraits of you both together.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

I am based in a small town in Mid Devon but I am willing to travel! Devon, Dorset, Somerset & Cornwall are travel included on Full wedding days! Travel costs for other ares can be discussed if you’d like me to come!

CAN WE SEE A FULL GALLERY?

Yes! No problem, just give me and email and I can send you a gallery with the couples permission.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

Depends on the job! I usually have 2 Canon mirrorless cameras with a range of lenses to cover all situations. I also have on camera flashes although I always try to shoot in the natural light.

I always have spare equipment.
