Hi, I'm Megan McAdam 👋
Chatty
Caring
Unobtrustive
I'm Megan, a Worcestershire based photographer. I specialise in capturing unscripted, personal, and honest photographs for people who might be a tiny bit camera shy. I follow an unobtrusive approach.
I love to get to know my couples, it's absolutely key to me being able to photograph you... being YOU, which is what it's all about. I want to help you & your family get the most out of any occasion, working around you and really getting in the thick of it when it's needed and seamlessly blending in when it's needed too. It's the heart-warming, gorgeous and unapologetically "you" moments that have my heart, real story telling photography.

Megan McAdam Full Description

For me, weddings are about the connection between a couple and the joining of their families' and friends'. But it is so important to me that couples also have a connection with their wedding photographer too. Every time you look at your wedding photographs, you’ll relive how you felt in the moment that photograph was taken.

My goal for your wedding day, by getting to know you both so well and creating a personalised and tailored service to really suit you, is that you’ll both feel totally at ease having your photo taken (which, let's face it, isn’t an everyday activity we find ourselves doing!).

Most of my couples don’t want to spend their time standing around having their photograph taken for hours on end. Your wedding day is the one-day in probably such a long time, where you’ll find yourself surrounded by so many loved ones, all together, all in one place. It’s important to me that I can be a photographer that can slot into your wedding, with your wedding photography having a minimal impact on your day, but delivering a wedding gallery that has maximum results

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Relaxed, Candid, Natural, Romantic and Documentary

What about your business are you most proud of?

How my couples review me!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy it & take your time. Remember it's about the two of you.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We will either meet or have a video call and you can gauge a feel for me and my style. After booking, I'll be there to answer any questions along the way but I love to have a proper catch up leading to the wedding, either via a pre-wedding shoot or venue visit!

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Totally up to the couple themselves but I love to take couple shots after the speeches at golden hour - if the day allows. Everyone is relaxed and loved up - it's beautiful!

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Rock climbing groom & groomsmen!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Get out there! Nothing will stop us with a brolly and blanket!

Describe how you got into photography.

My Dad got my first "proper" digital camera around the age of 8 and I've not been able to put it down since!
