I have 7 years of wedding photography experience.
My approach is quite simple. I encourage you to be your authentic selves, forget I’m there, and enjoy your magical day.
A wedding is not about the photography, it’s about the wedding. It’s about the celebration of your relationship, shared with your loved ones through a once in a lifetime event. The coming together of everyone from wherever they may be in the world. It’s a time of connection and appreciation.
As a photographer, it’s my job to let the day run its course, in its natural & authentic way. A fly on the wall. An observer. Not a coordinator.
I will offer some light direction during certain moments, for instance, if you’d like some portraits of just the two of you stood in a meadow, or walking down a beautiful street. Or some natural family & friend group photos.
The rest of the time is spent capturing the unfolding of your unique day. The emotions, expressions & actions which tell the story of when you got married.
Just be yourself, and let me take care of the rest.
I’m a friendly fly on the wall.
Magnum & National Geographic photographers, and movies.
I don’t have a favourite. Every wedding has its own authentic beauty.
The emotions, expressions & actions which tell the story of when you got married.
You should choose me if my photos inspire you, and your values align with my approach.
A mutual respect & kindness.
You’re happy with my photographic style & approach.
I have worked at many venues across the country. Some of my favourites are Wylam Brewery, The House Meadow & Lartington Hall.
