What about your business are you most proud of?
I absolutely love photographs! Each one tells a story, a frozen moment in time that allows you to remember forever and its my job to capture it!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't overthink things! What matters most is you two and the family and friends that surround you! The rest will happen naturally, don't worry if something will be a bit late! Nothing goes to exact plan but that is what makes every wedding unique!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love Magicians after the ceremony, they are such a great Ice breaker and create so much laughter and joy during the ceremony/meal changeover!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Upon booking I would arrange a meet or a zoom call depending on location to chat to the couple and get a general feel on their approach to the big day! We would discuss a general plan for me with timings and locations to be at certain points of the day.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I always ask the bride and groom about the most important people to them at the wedding. Sometimes it's lifelong friends or grandparents etc. This is priority for me as I already know I will get so many photos of the bride and groom so I like to focus on the important guests!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Family photos, as traditional as they are, they are always a regular occurrence and still remain an important factor at any wedding!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Don't think about rain this early on! Be positive! If it did rain I can get several shots outside. Umbrellas are a good idea. My equipment is weather sealed as well. Rain can add a lot of dramatic effects to a photo!
Describe how you got into photography.
It began with capturing photos of my kids. I quickly realized I was really good at it and started to be a 2nd shooter for friends weddings and it has grown arms and legs from there!
