She’s experienced shooting at a wide range of venues, from elegant manor houses to charming lakeside marquees. If your wedding is more than 1.5 hours from Southport, Lynette is open to discussing travel and accommodation arrangements to make sure she’s there for your big day.
I photographed a last minute wedding in wales. The bride literally contacted me three weeks before her wedding to see if I was available, it was on a wednesday, so I was. The couple and all that surrounded them were lovely, and friendly and I felt so welcome, it was clear that they were loved by many. Unfortunately the weather wasn't at its best and as the wedding was held at her mums home.We were stuck for locations to capture some intimate shots. Luckily the bride had a lightbulb moment and took me to a barn located at the back on the house, it was there that the farmer let us walk inside to then be presented by a barn full with horses and their foals. A moment I will never forget.
Fun, documentary, posed, and everything in between
That I created this business from scratch with the support and patience of my husband (he bought me my first camera a few years before I started my business)
Remember it is your day, don't sweat the small stuff. Even after months or years of planning your day will have a slight hiccup, embrace everything and enjoy every second because it will go so quickly!
ooooo thats a tricky one, DIY brides and weddings are becoming more popular so I have seen a mixture of personal touches.
When the bride or groom contacts me whether that is by phone, email or Facebook we will have a chat about what they would like etc. If they're happy with everything a deposit will be required to secure their date followed by a contract. If the couple require a engagement shoot that will be our next meeting otherwise I schedule a venue visit a month or two before the wedding to catch up on the details and go through the schedule of the day. It will on the wedding day that I will next see them.
Definitely the confetti shot, kissing under a shower of colourful flower petals is a must! You get some fab reactions from the guests, your kissing as the new married couple and the colour just pops!
The Couple in a barn on their neighbours farm amongst horses!
If your wedding is in the UK it is bound to rain at some point, so if the couple require a venue visit, we plot out the best parts of the venue to capture group and intimate photos just incase it rains.
