Lydia Stamps

From our first phonecall I knew Lydia would fit right into our day. It felt like we had a friend taking our pictures- she was professional, friendly and didn’t intrude on the day- the outcome was a set of natural unposed photos that capture the essence of the day. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, she made everyone feel so relaxed and the quality of her images is outstanding.

NB: we have not received our final photos yet, so cannot comment on that aspect. Lydia was absolutely fantastic, both before and during our wedding. Beforehand she was helpful, responsive and understood the relaxed style that we wanted. On the day she was great fun and fit in perfectly with our day. Lots of our guests commented on this. Neither of us like being photographed, but she made the experience genuinely enjoyable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

We were so lucky to have Lydia as our wedding photographer - her work is exceptional. At the wedding she was incredibly calm, personable and professional throughout the whole day. The way that Lydia did our couples shoot was really creative and fun, and she made us feel very relaxed. She also worked through our group shot list with amazing efficiency and many of our guests commented on how fantastic she was. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Lydia was so much more then a photographer. Her preparation leading up to the day made us 100% sure that we had made the right choice. She cared so much about what we wanted and took a lot of time making sure she totally understood us. Her experience of timings, ideas, orders, creativity etc shone through and made us feel so relaxed about the plan and we knew she was totally in control. On the day she handled our large and rowdy group with ease and with a huge smile on her face.

Lydia was amazing at our wedding day & party, despite them being very different occasions. She captured some brilliant moments of our very small intimate wedding as well as the beauty of the location. Then at our big party she made sure that she captured specific people that we wanted as well as the overall event in a relaxed and informal way. I really appreciated a text from Lydia the day before confirming details & having some of the wedding photos quickly available to display at the party.

Lydia was a godsend! Right from the moment we met her she went above and beyond what I believe the duties of a photographer to be! She was genuinely interested in our plans for the day and wanted to help make everything flow, and seeing as she attended weddings week in, week out, we gladly took her advice on board! Both Lydia's work and work ethic is just amazing, the photos that we received are brilliant quality and they portrayed the day exactly how we wanted them to. True professional!

Where to start? Lydia instantly understood everything we wanted in terms of our images and boy did she deliver!! She put us at ease, got all the images we requested and more. I would not hesitate to recommend Lydia to everyone! All our guests commented on how professional she was and relaxed. Looking through our images was wonderful, she captured stuff we would naturally have missed as Bride and Groom. Lydia also helped on the build up and is such a lovely person.

Lydia was absolutely outstanding on the day of our wedding. My husband describes her as a 'super hero', for her ability to be everywhere and stay on her feet for twelve hours, always smiling. Whilst getting ready the morning of our big day, she made me feel so relaxed. It was like getting ready with a good friend. She helped me get dressed & helped me to remain calm. I'm not a fan of having my photo taken but I felt very comfortable with Lydia. The finished result is fabulous! Thank you Lydia!

Lydia's unique style of photography and her lovable personality were the reason we booked her and loved having her involved in the wedding. She clearly has such a passion for photography and was really professional and a joy to have at the wedding. She also made us feel really comfortable having our photograph taken which is something we were super nervous about!

Lydia was friendly yet professional from the moment we first contacted her. She helped us out and put us at ease during the planning stages. She was relaxed and integrated with guests on the day which resulted in beautiful relaxed shots of the guests. Our private photos were not the awkward rigid posed shots I wanted to avoid - we had a laugh together and got the most special relaxed photos. The photos are more beautiful than I could have imagined - she really did capture the day perfectly.
