LUX Wedding Photography

I cannot give enough stars for Richard and the team at LUX photography, from start to finish they were absolutely superb. Booking them was super straightforward and we had a call with them about a month before the wedding. Richard made us so comfortable and at ease that we knew straight away we’d made the right decision. We booked to have photography, videography, drone, a photo booth and sweet cart and I can’t speak highly enough. Due to the distance, Richard and his daughter Ash came down the night before and met us as well go through final details and they turned up (with another photographer) Saturday morning promptly and ready to get started. The team were there from start to finish for both myself and the groom and we wouldn’t have known photos were going on other than the ‘staged’ ones. We got a sneak peek of photos 24 hours later and the rest of the photos about 8 weeks after. This was truly worth the wait and the photographs are exceptional, we can’t wait now to receive the videos. Richard and the team were fantastic and I will recommend them to everyone who asks. So worth the money and it’s clear in the final results just how much time was spent capturing our day

Richard helped to make our wedding day very special. An easy going guy, nothing too much trouble. His attention to detail was appreciated and he made us feel very relaxed. He made sure we got the ‘must have’ photos and blended into the background snapping away. We have received our ‘sneaky peeks’ photos giving us a flavour of what to expect from the final album…which are amazing and we are very excited to see the final photos.. Richard is a true professional and we would 100% recommend him.

We used Lux Wedding Photography for our wedding in August 2025. We had a fantastic experience with Richard and the team! Richard was prompt with communication and met us at the venue before the day to plan everything, so we were confident that he knew what we were after. On the day we opted for two photographers, videography and photo booth through Lux and we're really glad we did. They captured the day perfectly. We were keen not to miss too much of the action during the day, so Richard and the team were great at minimising our time away for photos whilst also capturing fabulous moments. We had a Richard and Ash capture our recent wedding, we were very nervous about being photographed and filmed,but from the very first call Richard made it relaxing and easy. On the actual wedding day they blended in so well we hardly knew they were there. Even on the photos that we needed to pose for, we were made to feel at complete ease. They are such lovely people, down to earth and friendly. From our pictures and there was a lot, what touched us the most was how Richard managed to capture emotion which was the most beautiful thing to see. When it’s your wedding there are lots of moments you miss and the photos we have show us some of those most special moments. Choosing Lux wedding photography was probably the single most best decision we made for our wedding day. We almost didn’t because we hate being photographed but so glad we did. Thank you Richard and Ash for our memories we will treasure them forever.

Richard at LUX was absolutely fantastic. He made my husband and me feel so at ease throughout the entire time he spent with us. The moments he captured were truly magical—so many amazing, beautiful photos that I could only have dreamed of having. Even before the ceremony, Richard was so helpful, offering to have a call with me to go through the photo styles I liked—again putting me at ease amidst all the pre-wedding stress. I can’t put into words how happy we are with the photos of our wedding day. Neither of us particularly like having our picture taken but Richard made it so easy and comfortable for both of us. From our very first conversation with Richard and seeing the LUX Photography portfolio, we knew they were exactly who we wanted to trust with our special day. Every interaction throughout the entire experience was fantastic. Richard was always so supportive and happy to answer our questions along the way, and our engagement shoot was such a special part of the journey. We got married on 31.12.2025 at The Blackhorse and had Richard and Courtney from Lux as our photographers (with videographer, Photo Booth and audio guestbook too) — and honestly, they were fantastic! From meeting them at a wedding fayre back in February 2024, we knew straight away they would be the photographers for us. Richard completely understood the vibe we wanted and made us feel so relaxed from the start. On the day itself, they went above and beyond in ways we would have never expected. They aren’t just there to take your photos, they were both there to make our day as special as it could be, and they did it! When we were let down last minute by a supplier for garden games, Richard arranged arcade games and had them delivered to the venue within minutes. When my niece struggled with the noise, he even offered to get her noise-cancelling headphones. So many of our guests commented on how amazing, friendly and helpful they both were throughout the day. And the photos… wow. We received our digital album last weekend and they are absolutely incredible — better than we could ever have imagined. If you’re thinking about booking through Lux, do it. We had Courtney and Ross as our photographers for the day and they both immediately knew exactly what we wanted and had so many fun ideas! The pictures all look incredible, and even just watching them work you can tell they're so passionate and absolutely love what they do. 100% worth the price, had such a wonderful experience with them!

Ross was phenomenal as our photographer throughout the entire process. We were both unsure what we wanted from a wedding photographer but Ross put us at ease straight away during all of our initial conversations.
