If you’re planning your wedding and want photos that truly reflect your day, Luke Hayden is here to help. With over 10 years of professional experience, Luke specialises in documentary-style wedding photography. He focuses on capturing real, unscripted moments as they happen, letting your day unfold naturally so your photos tell the genuine story of your celebration.
Luke’s approach is all about making you feel comfortable. He blends seamlessly with your guests, often feeling more like a friend than a photographer. Couples often say he’s gentle and unobtrusive, guiding only when necessary and allowing your day to flow naturally. This style is perfect if you or your partner feel shy in front of the camera, resulting in stunning photos that capture your true personalities and the atmosphere of your wedding.
Luke sees wedding photography as a privilege and is passionate about creating “frame-worthy” images with a fresh, modern style you’ll treasure forever. Couples praise his creative eye, his ability to blend into the day effortlessly, and the stunning quality of his final photographs.
I am Essex based, just outside of London and I cover the whole of the UK and abroad.
To make sure you don’t lose me for your wedding date, a 50% deposit is required.
I much prefer to work alone. I shoot 95% of my weddings alone, but I understand that sometimes you may want to book a 2nd photographer. I have an option for you to book a 2nd photographer if needed.
Yes I do take group photos. I find shortly after the ceremony is a good time to schedule these shots.
Yes, I am fully insured. If your wedding venue requires a copy of my insurance details, please let me know and I’ll get a copy over to you.
I aim to delivery your full gallery up to 8 weeks after your wedding. I sometimes delivery faster. It all depends when you’re getting married and if it’s peak season.
For most wedding I delivery between 500-700 images depending on how many hours you book.
I edit all selected images myself with my signature look.
Unfortunately, I can't hold any wedding dates without a retainer.
If you would like to make things official then I would need you to fill out my booking form. Once completed the 50% retainer is paid, you're all booked in.
