We hired Lucas to capture the memories from our wedding. He made us feel comfortable and at ease all day and all our guests commented on his professionalism and friendliness. We will certainly be in touch with him again for all the other important moments in our lives. Lucas is the photographer that other photographers aspire to be and his work is second to none.

You were fantastic, extremely professional and very friendly. You made what could have been a stressful experience a very enjoyable and relaxing one. I used to work in a hotel that did dozens of weddings each summer and I saw a lot of photographers who were quite pushy and were not very personable. After searching for hours for the perfect photographer, I found Lucas. Perfection. He is the friendliest, most professional, most talented photographer I have come across. We met Lucas after he was recommended to us, he explained everything, instantly making us feel at ease, this continued through to the engagement shoot and the day of the wedding. Lucas arrived in the morning and didn't leave until well gone 10pm, working non stop all the time. We are thrilled with both sets of photos and have so many that we love that it is taking us ages to decide which ones to display. Lucas is honestly one of the nicest guys you could wish to meet, you feel like an old friend is taking your photos and we really cannot thank him enough.

1 year ago today Lucas shot our wedding for us. We'd opted for a humanist ceremony in a woodland, in England, in summer. Having taken a preliminary walk around the site in the lead up to it, Lucas had suggested he might not wear his best suit. A good choice, as to say it rained was an understatement, the storms were biblical. Lucas and Chris were soaked, their kit was soaked, our guests were soaked and we were soaked, but they just got on with their task. They were courteous, professional, approachable and considerate throughout the entire day. With big beaming smiles on their faces they battled to cover our event. They photographed us at times like snipers, of which we have some truly beautiful images capturing the memories in glorious detail. I would recommend Lucas Vale Photography to anybody for any form of event, however big or small. He will cover it wonderfully and leave you with photographs that go hand in hand with your memories. Choosing a wedding photographer is a tough decision. You can view a photographers website, and see some of the best photos that they have taken. But how do you know that you are choosing someone that will fulfil your expectations? We asked our friends for recommendations. Lucas' name not only came up a lot, but we also didn't hear a bad word about him. When we arranged to meet Lucas we were already confident that we had made a good decision, but we were even more impressed meeting him in person. He's a really nice guy, professional, and you can tell he has a passion for his craft. It was an absolute pleasure to have Lucas and Chris photograph our wedding day, and we are so pleased with our final photos. They captured the whole day beautifully. We would highly recommend Lucas Vale if you are looking for a photographer.

Having seen Chris and Lucas perform their magic and two weddings (my own and my brothers) If I could give them more stars, I would without hesitation. I could not have been happier with their work. I found Lucas on FB through a bridal page. My first impression was that he was kind and considerate. He wrote to me the very next day requesting a meet/consultation. I was impressed with how prompt he was and though I wasn't won to him yet, I agreed to chat with him. He was so accommodating, he gave a very thorough breakdown of everything he could do and answered all my questions. Lucas offered a free engagement shoot to get us used to him and the camera and a 2nd shooter at our wedding for a small extra charge - I chatted with 2 other photographers, but none could beat his personality or price. Our engagement and wedding sessions were great. The engagement session was fun and laid back, Lucas did a great job with us. My fiance was not one for being in front of the camera and having his photo taken but Lucas soon put him at ease. It was a huge peace of mind to have already worked with him at the engagement shoot to get an idea of how he worked. I highly recommend it. Wedding day was amazing. Enter Chris Basford (2nd shooter). Lucas and Chris got there early, as I had requested, and stayed till late - there was no clock watching by them. My wedding party loved him, as did our families. They were extremely cordial, professional, but fun and had a terrific attitude. They made us feel very at ease and I never had to wonder where he was, they always seemed to know exactly where they needed to be and where we needed to be for those perfect shots. Chris and Lucas worked fast and furious to make sure we got some stellar moments. They knew how to take control of the wedding party when we needed to move and get in position, but he never came across as bossy or aggressive. We had a blast and a half and I can't praise them enough. You truly cannot go wrong with either of them, they will work with you and give you honest thoughts and ideas. Both are very gracious, kind and work super fast, but you'll never feel rushed out of some very special moments he perfectly captures. I'm one extremely happy bride. Heather
