Love Adventure by Dan Struthers Photography

We got married on 22nd June 2019 and received our photos yesterday. Wow! Dan surpassed all expectations we had. The photos are amazing and I cried so much going through them! The day seems like a lifetime ago now and it was wonderful to look back on such a special day. I’m so glad that we had Dan and Gemma to capture some treasured memories! I was 8 months pregnant on the day and they made sure I was comfortable and happy throughout the day...I would highly recommend this couple. Fantastic at what they do, but genuinely lovely people too! I actually forgot the camera was there at times... Can’t thank you enough!

We could not have been more delighted with the service we received from booking, to receiving the 1000+ photos of our wedding day. On booking with Dan, we exchanged emails and he offered to meet for coffee to discuss our day and any specifics in detail, we didn’t do this, as we were getting married away from where we live and had no idea on the specifics at all, but we could tell from the start that Dan was super friendly and that we would get on well. Dan was so kind to Skype with us before our wedding which was really informative and put us at ease during final wedding preparations, which, as anybody who is planning a wedding knows, is priceless. Dan was fantastic at discussing the photos we wanted for our wedding and didn’t force us in to any traditional photo shoots, just the photos we wanted with our families. We wanted lots of photos taken outside and with our families, Dan was more than happy to oblige. Dan arrived promptly and looked smart and professional, he had loads of energy and it was clear he was willing to go above and beyond to get incredible, creative shots. We were very relaxed on our wedding day and Dan was really inobtrusive whilst still joining in with the crack and joking around with everybody, making us feel so comfortable. We could not be more delighted with the volume and quality of photos we have got of our wedding day – Dan seemed to be everywhere, capturing beautiful, natural photos of all of our favourite people enjoying themselves, whilst also capturing Sam and I getting ready, chatting with our families, friends, groomsmen/bridesmaids as well as the shots of us getting married, and afterwards as a newly married couple. He really is so talented. We opted to hire the photobooth for the evening reception which went down an absolute treat, we had a wedding guestbook next to the booth on recommendation from Dan and Gemma, we have got so many hilarious shots and touching messages in the guestbook as a great keepsake from an incredible day. Gemma too, was great fun, constantly smiling, great crack and had plenty of patience with us. Dan sent us some preliminary photos the day after our wedding and we were blown away, the thought and effort that had gone in to the shots was above and beyond what we could have imagined. This continued upon receiving all of the photos a few weeks later, we were given plenty of beautiful prints, an engraved memory stick with over 1000 photos from the day as well as all of the photos and GIFs from the photobooth (hilarious). We couldn’t recommend Dan enough, he was so friendly and chatty with everybody, he fit right in and everybody thought he was great, we felt like we had known him for ages, not to mention he has provided us with amazing, everlasting memories of the day. (sorry, can't seem to attach any photos - but honestly, they're amazing!)

Dan and Gemma are absolutely incredible people, the passion they have shows that they love what they do, we couldn't have picked a more perfect photographer for our wedding day. As a shy couple we were most nervous about having our pictures taken. On our initial meeting with Dan all our nerves were put aside as we chatted away with him about what pictures we wanted for our big day he made us feel so relaxed it felt like we had known him for years. We put some ideas to him he was so helpful in telling us what would and wouldn't work on the day and was more than willing to try any new ideas out. Dan was always a text or phone call away with any questions or queries we had on the run up to the wedding and when the big day finally arrived Dan and Gem went above and beyond to make our photos truly unique and beautiful. From climbing on walls/fences and tripping over in a muddy field (sorry Dan had to get that one in, it gave Me, Gem and the Bridesmaids a good giggle :-) ) Dan captured the day perfectly, from snapping away in the background at guests to capturing a loving moment with me and my Daughter he captured so many great memories of our day. Not only did Gem help Dan out with the picture poses but she helped organise our guests for the wedding reception and even straightened out the train on my dress before I walked down the aisle. We had 35 prints and over 1,200 pictures on a USB stick for us to treasure and look back on, the quality and attention to detail on the pictures are amazing. We cant Thank Dan and Gem enough, this duo are the best photographers around and we would recommend them to anyone Cara & Nath

I do not like having my picture taken, and was very nervous in the run up the wedding. Dan was so relaxed and put everyone at ease. I did not even notice him working most of the time, and the photos were amazing. We were super happy.

It started off with a recommendation from a tenuous link with extended family members.... Dan and Gem are based in Wales and we are in the Midlands, but that did not stop us from communicating and exploring ideas via skyp, right up until the day. On the day, Dan and Gem arrived nice and early and just got stuck in... Gem was immediately chatting away to us all about girly stuff, and making us all feel at ease whilst Dan started snapping away and exploring the accommodation inside and out. In no time at all we had forgot he was there and he got the most amazing natural shots... which is what we wanted. Dan and Gem are a great duo, Gem was great at playing photographers assistant, controlling family members for those all important family shots, but also she had her own amazing ideas about poses and group photos which weren't traditional and aligned to the quirky pics we were looking for. Dan has an incredible eye for natural shots and capturing the emotion in a moment, which in fact was the top thing that our guests commented on when they saw our wedding pics. Within 24 hours of the wedding we had a preview file of around 20 pics and the rest of the 1300 photos were with us within 3 weeks, on a beautiful personalised memory stick, witv the 20 preview pics printed, in a beautiful presentation box. We could not recommend these two enough and have absolutely no regrets about our choice in photographer.

Dan and Gemma did a fantastic job on our special day we couldn't have wished for a better photographer. You both made it so much fun and helped out where needed, the shots we have seen are out of this world and are excited to see the rest of them. On behalf of my wife and I we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Would highly recommend booking Dan for your wedding photography. He was extremely bubbly, puts you at ease and has great ideas to give you a unique twist on your wedding images. We ended up going on a short hike to some local cliff edges and my goodness, the photos were stunning!
