Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
REAL, RELAXED, PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL, CREATIVE,
What about your business are you most proud of?
My passion and pride lies in the relationships I build with all my couples before their special day. Building that relationship takes love and listening and all of this creates a comfortable and relaxed environment and genuine photographs; my photos are pretty good too ;-)
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Just follow your gut!
Do only what you know to be true to you and your partner.
Work with suppliers that make you feel good and that can help create your vision.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I think having a pregnancy announcement at the speeches was pretty special!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I love to meet for a coffee/hot chocolate prior to booking to make sure I am the right photographer for you.
Clients will then pay a booking deposit to secure the date and sign the contract.
In the running up to the wedding we will have a few of cuppa's and chats to talk about your day and the wedding plans.
We will do a 1 hour mini shoot which is both to capture some lovely shots and to build confidence in being photographed by me.
Few more cuppas!
We will do a venue visit a month or two before your big day where we will discuss and design important shots for you.
Remaining balance will be paid.
We will have correspondence a week before your day to check details.
WE PHOTOGRAPH YOUR BEAUTIFUL DAY!
I will share a sneak image online.
1 week from your wedding you will see a preview gallery of a selection of images.
2/3 weeks you will have your online gallery with your beautiful wedding photos on to download and order prints from.
(If you have chosen an album you will still get your gallery of images before the album. Delivery of the album depends on the design response of the couple and photographer)
We hug and finish our wedding photography journey.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The shots of just you and your partner are the key photographs to take on the day. Booking time in the day for those is key! x
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
That is tricky as I always work with clients who are passionate about individuality. From a pregnancy scan photo in the couple shots, to photographing a moving horse and carriage. Each couple brings something different to their wedding photos.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I have had the luck of bringing the sun to 98% of the weddings I have shot but I am not shy to get the wellies and umbrellas out....or snuggle somewhere in your beautiful venue for your couple shots.
Describe how you got into photography.
One day I picked up a camera, knowing not at all how to use it! I fell in love with the sound of the shutter, took some photos of my brother with makeup on (fashion styling), decided to get a degree in it and have loved it ever since. It is my soul! It is my gift to you!
