The secret to a great photograph is connection and authenticity. Beautiful images aren’t just about perfect lighting or technical settings- they’re about capturing who you truly are. When there’s a real connection between the photographer and the couple, people naturally relax, open up, and allow their genuine personalities to shine through.
I don’t want your photos to look like anyone else’s wedding. I want them to feel unmistakably you. Whether that means playful, romantic, quiet, wild, or anything in between, my goal is to create a space where you can be completely yourselves. When you feel comfortable and seen, the moments unfold naturally - and that’s when the magic happens.

What questions will you ask us when we first start working together?
It’s really important for me to build a genuine relationship with my clients. I want to tell their story in a way that feels uniquely them, so I always start by asking what aspects of their day matter most. This helps me focus on capturing the moments that truly hold meaning for them.
I’ll also ask how comfortable they feel in front of the camera. Do they prefer natural, documentary-style photos where I gently guide them with prompts to help them relax? Or do they love more posed, structured images? Understanding this helps me tailor the experience so they feel at ease and confident.
Beyond the logistics, I like to get a sense of who they are as a couple—their interests, their vibe, and what they find fun. Building that connection allows me to photograph them in a way that feels authentic and natural.
We’re awkward in front of the camera… will that be a problem?
Absolutely not. Most couples tell me this, and by the end they’re shocked at how relaxed they felt. I don’t do stiff, forced posing. Instead, I guide you with simple prompts that help you interact with each other naturally—think movement, laughter, quiet moments. You don’t need to “perform.” Just be yourselves, and I’ll do the rest.
What happens if it rains?

Do you travel?
Absolutely—whether your wedding is five minutes away or halfway across the world. I adore photographing new places and weaving your story into the environment. Just tell me where, and I’ll pack my bags.
Can we send you a Pinterest board or inspiration images?
Definitely. I love seeing what draws your eye. It helps me understand your vision, but once we’re on the day, I focus on capturing your relationship in a way that’s true to you—not recreating someone else’s wedding. Your love is unique. Your images should be too.
Do you help with planning or posing on the day?
Yes! I’m a photographer, but I’m also a timeline-tweaker, dress-fluffer, bouquet-rescuer, and calm presence when the day gets chaotic. I’ll help guide you when needed but I’ll never overtake the flow of your day. I’m there to support you and make sure you look and feel amazing without ever interrupting the magic.
What’s your approach to photographing a wedding?
I’m all about connection. Before I ever pick up a camera, I like to get to know you as humans—what makes you laugh, what calms you, what moments matter most. My photography leans towards natural, storytelling imagery with gentle guidance when you need it, but mostly I want you to forget the camera is even there. My goal? For you to look back at your gallery and feel your day all over again.
Do you offer engagement shoots?
Yes, and I absolutely recommend them! It’s the perfect warm-up before the big day. We get to hang out, chat, and take photos in a relaxed environment so that when your wedding day comes, you’re able to simply be yourselves and enjoy every moment.
There’s also so much room for creativity. Whether it’s a dog walk, wandering around an art gallery, exploring dramatic landscapes in the Peak District, or grabbing coffee in your favourite café—anything goes. Let’s make it unique and special to you, and most importantly, make sure you’re having fun.
How long until we get our photos?
I know how excited couples are to relive their day, so I send a sneak peek within a few days. Your full gallery is typically delivered within 8 weeks. Every image is lovingly edited by me—nothing rushed, everything intentional.
