Quite a few years ago we shot a wedding in Worcester, a bridesmaid from a previous wedding, the vibes on the day were just lush, the weather was amazing the bride and groom were super relaxed and deeply in love. The ceremony was at the most beautiful church in Great Witley (look it up, its amazing) we did the longest confetti throw which was hilarious, the couple squeezed themselves into a small red hatchback, a seat ibiza i think! We followed them to a small village hall but mid journey we passed a beautiful rapeseed field so we all pulled over and got some amazing shots in a field, the village hall was in a place called Rock, it was surrounded by so much land that everyone just spilled out and drank wine, laughed, hugged, kissed, played games, the whole day was just so perfect, for us and for them, none of us wanted it to end! - we're thankful to have had many more weddings give us those vibes but that wedding always sticks in mind!!

We usually receive an enquiry saying they met us at a wedding and are ready to book! Which is amazing! However a regular process would be to mail and send info regarding packages, and making sure customer have seen out 'behind the scenes' footage and like what they've seen picture wise, we arrange to see to show albums, and we meet again 3 month before the wedding to plan the day, we timeline it out so we can take care of making sure the day runs smooth, we also gather a formal family shot list, again we take care of capturing these on the day. On a wedding day we arrive earlier than the ceremony to capture the bridal prep, and some of the groomsmen, we help where we can but this time is mainly to make everyone at ease with us around. We shoot a ceremony from the front and the back to make sure we see the bride and her escort, as well as catching the grooms first look (you better turn around!!). during the ceremony there are few shots we need, but we also capture guest as they watch, after the ceremony we capture to hugging and kissing and congratulating, then family shots and some couples shots. We are there for speeches and we eat when everyone else eats, after the meal we may get some more shots of the couple, bridesmaid or groomsmen or just wander and capture some candid shots, we offer up opportunities for photos but the couple don't have to always say yes, we always say the photos are important, but a wedding day shouldn't be ALL about the photos! We capture cake cuts, bouquet toss' and first dances, we get some dancing and party shots and we say a final farewell, if there were sparklers, sunsets, prosecco spraying we would usually stick around for that too! after the wedding we try to get tasters online for the family to enjoy, so there will be sneak peeks on our social media, as well as a behind the scenes snippet, the full set of images would be delivered on USB within 3 month.

If you have the weather, the venue and space we believe a full daytime guest group shot should be taken, in years to come it will be the shot you hover over the most when looking back through the album.

At one point taking an image of a couple in the rain was an original shot to capture, but as time goes on everyone starts doing it, don't try and come up with crazy and wacky ideas that no-one else can do or has done, just focus on each other, your family and it WILL create original photos. We have not and will not ever photoshop a T-rex into a picture of the bridal party running away in fear, just saying.

Umbrellas. lots of umbrellas. maybe more importantly an open mind, we have shot couples in the rain, we have done group shots in the rain, we have done confetti throwing in the rain. Don't let the fear of british weather stop all proceedings, if you're up for being in the rain, we are too, we will keep it minimal but if everyone has brollies we can make it work.

Apart from the years Nick spent being an Art & Design student our real story began in 2007-ish, we were on holiday in tenerife, we had our trusty digital camera and we saw the most amazing sunset, as anyone would we decided to take a selfie, we managed to get 2 types of shot, one where we were black shadows with a glorious sunset, the other a brightly lit couple on a black backdrop, so at that point Nick vowed to get a good camera ('cause that's all it takes right?!) and learn all about photography!
