Unfortunately its the one where the bride changed her mind...
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, Documentary, Fun, Editorial, Timeless
What about your business are you most proud of?
I love that most of my couples have been recommended me by a friend or have been to a wedding I have photographed, it is the biggest compliment.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Decide on the vibe you're going for, if you're having a small wedding go for a solo guitarist in the evening, if you're having 120 guests and they're party animals, hire an awesome band. You don't want to spend a big chunk of money on a band or a DJ when no one is dancing.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love anything original - the sort of thing that starts a new Pinterest trend! DIY for the win. I have seen some fab set ups, original flower designs and stationary.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Booking is super easy, there's a short form and a £500 deposit, the rest is due 1 month before the wedding. I send out a detailed form 6 weeks before the wedding so the couples can tell me what group photos they would like.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I love a confetti shot, its the perfect couple photo without the posing.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A tiny boat in a lake with their cockerpoo as well!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Bring an umbrella and enjoy it! - if you're getting married in England plan for potential rain haha. I'm game for getting soggy if you are!
Describe how you got into photography.
I started photography when I was at University studying animation. I worked for a year as an animator before making my hobby of photographing weddings a full time career in 2011! I have photography around 600 weddings and I still love my job.
