Based in Maidstone, Kent, Lemonade Pictures brings a fresh, vibrant approach to wedding photography. For over 12 years, lead photographer Nic has been telling the unique stories of couples just like you. Specializing in a natural, fun, and delightfully quirky style, Nic has captured more than 500 weddings, focusing on genuine moments and authentic emotions that make your day truly special.
Lemonade Pictures uses a documentary (or reportage) style, blending seamlessly into your day to capture it as it naturally unfolds. This means no stiff poses or forced smiles—just real laughter, happy tears, and all the little moments you’ll want to remember forever. If you or your partner feel a bit camera-shy, this relaxed approach ensures your photography experience is comfortable and unobtrusive. The result? A timeless collection of images that perfectly reflect the joy and atmosphere of your wedding, without taking you away from your guests for hours.
At Lemonade Pictures, the philosophy is simple: it’s your wedding day, so your focus should be on enjoying every moment. Nic offers a friendly, professional service designed to put you at ease. Here’s what couples typically receive:

I love that most of my couples have been recommended me by a friend or have been to a wedding I have photographed, it is the biggest compliment.
Decide on the vibe you're going for, if you're having a small wedding go for a solo guitarist in the evening, if you're having 120 guests and they're party animals, hire an awesome band. You don't want to spend a big chunk of money on a band or a DJ when no one is dancing.
I love anything original - the sort of thing that starts a new Pinterest trend! DIY for the win. I have seen some fab set ups, original flower designs and stationary.
Booking is super easy, there's a short form and a £500 deposit, the rest is due 1 month before the wedding. I send out a detailed form 6 weeks before the wedding so the couples can tell me what group photos they would like.
I love a confetti shot, its the perfect couple photo without the posing.
A tiny boat in a lake with their cockerpoo as well!
Bring an umbrella and enjoy it! - if you're getting married in England plan for potential rain haha. I'm game for getting soggy if you are!
I started photography when I was at University studying animation. I worked for a year as an animator before making my hobby of photographing weddings a full time career in 2011! I have photography around 600 weddings and I still love my job.
