What is your most memorable wedding?
I've had so many incredible days! I'm usually talking a wedding in France. There was food, wine, sunshine and most of all laughter!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Artistic, Beautiful, Stunning, Reportage, Real
What about your business are you most proud of?
Creating memories for wonderful people. Capturing the moments and the emotion of the day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take your time and plan for everything, particularly planning for bad weather!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
An owl bought in the rings during a wedding. It was really beautiful and all the guests were stunned!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Everything is planned to the last detail to avoid stress. I want each and every one of my couples to know they can trust me to deliver their images, better than they expect them to be. I start with a phone or in person consultation and we discuss what they want.
After this it's the engagement session where I show them how to pose and how to be natural with the camera, which is surprisingly very important!
Then comes the wedding day where I am with the couple & their family all day, capturing every laugh, every tear and every beautiful moment. It's such a rewarding job to be the person to make this happen.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Think of the people that are important to you. If you have a great photographer, everything that happens throughout the day will be captured. But if you have a special grandparent or friend or someone that's really special to you - tell your photographer. Make that photo happen. Then treasure that photo.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Have a back up plan, at every time of year! Have umbrellas (& wellies if it's a field!) and plan somewhere inside for group photos just in case. This is vital because who wants to say the weather ruined their day? From my experience rain has only enhanced the images because my couples are always prepared.
Describe how you got into photography.
It started with an art degree and a family business with wedding cars!
I love the art of photography, I paint with light! 12 years later I have refined my art, I have a unique style, create stunning images for my couples and enjoy every second! I now even teach photography to others.
I don't 'point and shoot' then cover it up with an instagram filter. Each image is artistically created to be magazine worthy and stunning for a lifetime. These images won't go out of fashion.
