One in 2016! We was in a marque, in a field, with thunder and lightning crashing around us! it was loud, wet and really fun... The guests found it entertaining, the Bride and Groom didn't let it faze them and the sun came out and shone a rainbow... which gave us just enough time for group pictures!
Relaxed, Friendly, Professional, colourful and happy
The comments I get during and after a wedding, everyone is always so wonderful and positive!
Its about you... this is YOUR day! remember that. It is not about trying to please everyone, because it is almost impossible.
Plus here some handy know it tips...
People are always happy with full tummies!! It's a long day for you, and your guests, so a full tummy makes a happy guest.
Leave at least 10 minutes in between each 'part of the day' as things always over run.
Don't panic about the dress! even the cleanest hotels will ensure a dress hem is dirty!
Keep Group shots to a minimum to maximise the best of your day!
Your bridesmaids and groomsmen are there to HELP! it's not just an open bar for them... ensure they're helping and taking on tasks so you don't have to!
Handmade favours! its so nice to be able to take away something lovingly made by the couple and their wedding party! Plus, I get to photograph them. Choose something useful, or drink/food based, that way if any are left over, you get to eat or drink them!
I'll have a little chat via email about you, your day and our expectations.
We will then meet and have a little drink over the details. I require then a 20% deposit within 1 week of confirming your booking.
We will have an engagement shoot, where you will get to have some fun.
Between the engagement shoot and the wedding day, you will have time to think about your shoot list. I will review this and see if anything is missing.
On the morning I will arrive a little earlier, and will photograph the morning prep, details, location etc leading onto the rest of the day using your venue plan.
Your wedding images will be ready up to 6 weeks after your wedding day.
If you have ordered an album, this will normally take 6 weeks once the process starts.
Always take 5-10 minutes after the ceremony to yourself... this will make your personal photos feel excited, relaxed and happy. When you think about Your number one picture, just think of the photo you loved most from a friends wedding. Was it their laughter, their dancing, their romantic couple portraits? or think, what is You... laughing and joking, fashionable and sassy, or elegant and uber sexy! haha, this is down to you, and not me!
Gosh! It wasn't a wedding...I was doing a couple shoot in Copenhagen, and the couple were huge Star Wars 'nerds' so we photographed them in their cloaks with lightsabers!
Just smile! As long as you smile, and trust me, you will have a magical day... Photographers love an overcast day, the light is beautiful! and we can always make it brighter :) so never panic that the day isn't sunny! I had a wedding this August where is rained all the way until 'golden hour' we had about 30 minutes to get some outdoor pictures!
I just love seeing people have a great day! I was asked to do a friend of a friends wedding, and I hadn't photographed a wedding before... and I love it! It helped that they had an espresso martini bar!! I then was asked by one of the bridesmaids, then the brides brother, and so on!
