Honestly, there are just too many to mention! Each one has it's own thing - it might be awesome styling, a couple being super playful, a rocking ceilidh, grandad getting you in the face with a bucket of confetti, a heartfelt speech or a simple touching moment with a gran. It's all about the moments that make it memorable to each wedding. :D
Fun, fresh, creative and authentic with a traditional nod.
That after 11 years in, I still love every wedding I capture and I still get giddy excited with every couple I meet. Every wedding is unique and I love the anticipation that brings because it allows me to capture the day uniquely.
Oh gosh, there are so many! With photography? Meet us beforehand - it makes such a difference to your day and ultimately your images when you get the first meet weirdities out of the way. On the day, trust us and just play - we can take a photo but we need you to bring you...call it a teamwork effort!
Generally? Ask your suppliers for advice because they are goldmines of info. For the majority of couples, it's their first time walking down the aisle but a good supplier gets married easily 30+ times a year. They know so much more about what works, what doesn't and what can go wrong!
Anything that is putting the couple's personal stamp on the day - it's important to make the day truly yours and it makes for great conversation! I've loved gold dinosaur tablecentres, couple outfits with a twist, full on riots of colour throughout, mad ceilidh dancefloors and whisky/cigar bars, to name a few.
It's totally traditional but get that group shot of everyone, so you can look back when you're old and recall all the faces and characters that made up your day. It will quickly help evoke memories even beyond your wedding day and that's important.
Acceptance! You can never control it, so run with it, get the brollies out and make something of it as it's all part of your day and your memories. There are always photo opportunities when you least expect them.
Once upon a time, we bought an awesome puppy and the rest was history! When we meet, I'll tell you all about it! :D
