I'm proud of capturing the love between all different and unique kinds of couples everywhere.
Keep it true to you both as a couple as the day is about your love!
My typical process with a couple is to send a contract to the couples who have gotten in touch so that they can have a look over it and send me any questions they have. Then after they sign and pay the low deposit, I have a pre-wedding consultation of their vision and what they are looking for in their photos. I also keep in constant contact with them throughout the wedding planning period. I'm always available for a chat or advise on inspirations and such for the wedding day. The couples who book my fully day package will also receive a complimentary engagement session. Two weeks before the wedding I will be in touch to then speak about the finer details such as scheduling. On the day, I will capture as many beautiful photos as possible on a Canon 5D Mark III which has a dual memory slot for safety, if anything were to happen to one of the memory card, your photos will be safely backed up on the second one. I then take approximately 2-4 weeks to professionally edit your photos and send you the very best ones via online gallery or USB. I then get in touch to see how you like your photos and see if you need any printed or a photo album. If there are any changes you would like to the editing or anything at all, I'm still available afterwards to have a chat!
The first look photo are so beautiful and intimate. You can even take this photo without actually seeing each other if we find a nice door or corner, we can get a photo of you both holding hands behind the doors without seeing each other! You can call it a first touch in a way!
I recommend having a back up plan with a back up location for a rainy day wedding. I usually arrive at the venue early to scope out these spots as I always have a back up plan to ensure you still get amazing photos despite the weather!
My love for photography, film and fashion was always there, so I pursued these passions during my degree at Old Dominion University where I received a Bachelors in Fashion and Communication. Until recently, I thought I was more interested in being in front of the camera. It was not until the production of my short film (Thread of Life) during my Masters in Digital Communication, that I realized that I actually love to be behind the camera as well. Especially, when I get to capture such beautiful moments for others to look back on. Having a wedding of my own and seeing my amazingly talented photographer at work made me really recognize that what she's doing is exactly what I want to be doing, rather than sitting at my boring office job where I can't let my creative juices flow.
