What is your most memorable wedding?
I had the privilege to shoot a wedding in Seville last September. It was a late ceremony, which meant the party went onto just past 6am. Craziest and best party ever!!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, documentary, storytelling, contemporary.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Working for myself and making it on my own.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make it your own. Traditions were made to be broken.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once I recieve an enquiry we make sure we all meet up together for a little chat and a coffee (or a pint). After the meet if they decide to choose me then they can put a small deposit down just to secure the date. The remainder doesn't need to be paid off until 2 months prior to the big day! I'll keep in touch and will always be there to answer any questions throughout. I will always make sure we have a final meet up a few weeks before the big day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The first look when the bride walks down the aisle is always a special moment, along with the first kiss and ANY late night sparkler shot!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Whatever month of the year you can never predict the weather in the UK. Most venues have back up options just in case it does rain, but have that in mind when you visit potential venues.
Describe how you got into photography.
It was actually in my down time. I just finished two years at College and I had no idea what I wanted to do from there on. I worked numerous jobs during that time but I also picked up my Mums DSLR. It started with taking simple pics of the family cats outside. It expanded into a huge passion, which I desperate to start a career in. That following September I enrolled onto an Art Diploma course and then went off to University the year after!
