How would you describe your photography style?
My style is natural, soulful, and storytelling-driven. I blend soft direction with candid moments to create images that feel effortless, emotional, and true to life—never stiff or overly posed.
Do you help with posing?
Yes—absolutely. You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll gently guide you throughout the session so you feel comfortable and confident, while still leaving space for natural movement and genuine moments.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
Kris Soul Photography is based in Edinburgh, but I’m always open to travel. If your story takes place somewhere special, let’s talk about it—travel fees may apply depending on the location, but always only petrol fee.
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings or peak seasons. For smaller sessions, a few weeks’ notice is usually enough, but availability can vary.
Can you shoot both the ceremony and reception (even if at different locations)?
Absolutely — many couples in Edinburgh choose separate venues for ceremony + reception (for example, City Chambers for the ceremony and a venue like Marlins Wynd or The Caves for the reception). I’ll coordinate logistics with you so we capture beautiful, flowing coverage across both locations.

Yes! I love shooting at unique spaces — whether that’s a dramatic castle, a quirky cellar venue, or an intimate garden ceremony. I’ve photographed weddings at a range of venues including historic halls, unique city spaces, and outdoor & garden setups
How far in advance should we book our venue & photographer?
Edinburgh and Scotland are popular wedding destinations. Most couples book their venue 12–18 months ahead, and photographers fill up fast too — especially for summer weekends.
