Describe your typical process with a couple.
1. Fill out contact form
If you're interested in having me photograph your love story, fill out the contact form with your date & venue. I will get back to you within a few days letting you know my availability & to discuss all of your plans so far.
2.Sign the Contract
Once you choose your package it's time to finalise the booking by signing the contract and paying the deposit. After this your wedding is officially booked in & in my calendar. Woohoo!
3.Get hitched!
We'll coordinate a plan for the entire day. A questionnaire will be sent out to you a few months before the wedding to get all of the details & timings from you. I want to keep things as natural as possible, no one wants to spend most of their day stood posing for photos. Enjoy every minute!
4.Receive Images
You will receive sneak previews a few days after the wedding. The full gallery will be ready roughly around 6 weeks later. After this you pick your 50 favourite images for your print box (in package three) and should receive it within 3 weeks.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
one that truly shows their emotion and love for eachother. Their natural laughing face or looking lovingly at each other. I want to FEEL your connection.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I live in Orkney so I'm ready for all kinds of weather. It's totally up to the couple, they can decide to just do indoor photos or if they don't care about getting a bit wet then im all for embracing it and having the memories to look back on. It always makes a good story in years to come.
Describe how you got into photography.
fun fact - I'm dyslexic which I use to my advantage as I see the world differently. I thrive on capturing gorgeous memories and seeing beauty in the little things that often goes unnoticed. My aim if for you to look back at your wedding photos and be able to feel the same emotion as you felt in the moment it was taken.
