All weddings have their memorable moments as each wedding is unique, but the most memorable location for a wedding was the Churnet Valley Railway. The couple got married in the station office then the bride, groom and their guests were served their meal on a steam train whilst travelling through the beautiful Staffordshire countryside. The evening reception was held in a marquee at Consall Station and the evening guests arrived at the reception on a steam train .....!!! It was just a fabulous, different wedding.
Beautiful, Stylish, Classical yet Modern, Natural, Fun
The fact that my clients, their family and friends love what I do and tell others.
Don't leave things until the last minute. To avoid disappointment book your suppliers in plenty of time as if you don't then someone else will.
The bride and groom had green apples that doubled up as wedding favours and place named as they added a card leaf to the stalk with names on them. The reason for the apples was two fold, their colour scheme was shades of green and they were both teachers so it was an 'apple for the teacher'.
I love to meet up with potential clients to get to know them a little, to hear about their plans and requirements for their special day and also for them to get to know me a little too (as booking a wedding photographer is as much about liking and getting on with them as a person as it is about their photographs). I show some sample albums and leave them alone to have a discussion. I then return to answer any questions they may have.
If you are still lucky enough to have your grandparents, then make sure you have a photo with them. Also your parents, make sure you have a photo with them individually and together. You will not realise the significance of these photos until way after your wedding day has past.
.... you really don't want to know ... lol !!!!
You can never tell what the weather is going to be like on your wedding day until you get up in the morning and look out of the window! If it rains the first thing is not to worry as if you have hired a professional photographer to shoot your wedding you will get some great shots. Bring your wellies and your smiles and leave the rest to the professionals you will be amazed what we can do in the rain :)
My love of actual photographs goes back a long long way but I became a wedding photographer by a very happy accident and I am so glad I did as it's the best job in the world and I love love love it !
