What is your most memorable wedding?
It's hard to pick just one. I have a memorable moment from every wedding I capture.
What about your business are you most proud of?
The thing I'm most proud of in my business is the fact I can be there for my family daily.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number one wedding tip for couples is to ignore what you think other people want to see at your wedding. Plan your wedding around your interests and personalities.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of the things that comes to mind straight away is at one wedding the bride and groom, and their family and friends, all folded origami cranes. They made a total of 1000 origami cranes.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
So my typical process with a couple is before even booking me we catch up and have a chat, hopefully face to face over a cup of coffee. This helps the couple get a feel for me as a person and not just a face they see on the internet.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I don't think there is a single photo that every couple should have. Every couple and every wedding is different.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace the rain!
Describe how you got into photography.
I have always had photography around me. Growing up my dad was a keen amateur and developed his own images at home. He would take pictures of me and my brothers growing up. So when my son was born I wanted to document his life and bought my first camera. The rest is history.
