Steve captured the emotions of our day perfectly. From first speaking to Steve he was professional, friendly and understanding. Organising a meeting prior to the big day to finalise the details and show us the albums that were available. On the day he was non intrusive and went with the flow and energy of the people and location. The photos he produced were natural and full of emotion, exactly what we wanted. He set up an online gallery and provided us with our copy of the photos in a timely manner. We were very impressed and would recommend Steve to anyone.

We really couldn’t be happier with the photos and I know my dad is ecstatic about them. As a bride I felt the day flew by too quickly and I almost felt a bit detached, seeing the photos really reminds me how much fun and relaxed it was.

We found Steve's website whilst searching for a photographer to cover our wedding in Bibury and liked his style of engaging and creative photography. He offered to meet us at our venue where he talked passionately about his photography style. We liked that he listened to our preferences and also offered valuable ideas based on his vast experience. We had no hesitation in booking him. Communication up until the day was always prompt and curtious, answering all our questions about timing and where he would be at various stages. On the day he was fantastic. He was sensitive to the ceremony but ensured he got the shots he needed. During the reception he stealthily worked through our guests getting natural, engaging photos without being noticed - these were some of our favorite photos. We then had a few staged photos which are obligatory for any family album! Lastly, he had a repertoire of tricks to entice smiles from our bewildered 18-month old. The photos Steve produced were simply stunning. He captured moments most people would miss. His editing, cropping and use of black and white on certain photos was very creative.

Steve is a master! My wife and I almost didn’t hire a photographer as we both had a negative view of the style of soft images and fake setup shots usual with weddings. We couldn’t have been more wrong. Steve with his fantastic sense of humor put everyone at ease with the camera – and the images? Steve managed to capture still moments of jovial perfection. As a husband and bride it was images of our favourite people and family members all together that we cared most about and these couldn’t have been more beautifully captured…and in the middle of a cheese carving competition (don’t ask). From my wife and I, Steve we salute you.

We honestly couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos, in fact I think I shed a few tears! – they are all fantastic; Steve is obviously a very, very talented photographer and knows exactly what he’s doing! I highly recommend him to everyone – as well as his distinguished photography skills, he is a really nice bloke and makes everyone feel at ease – a lot of them were taken without other people knowing which has produced some charismatic and natural looking photos; he also covered all of the formal shots that you would expect from a wedding photographer. Steve Catcheside covered our wedding last year, he did a superb job from start to finish. He provided excellent value for a seriously professional service and the highest quality photos. Steve delivered everything we wanted – relaxed, spontaneous and beautiful photos of ourselves and our guests. Steve included a pre-wedding shoot which helped us get used to the camera and provided a great photo for all of our guests to sign on the wedding day, he also came to our home a few weeks after the wedding and set up a super slide show that gave us plenty of time to choose which of our images we wanted to go into the album. We cannot recommend Steve highly enough, he gave us amazing photos and our guests hardly noticed he was there on the day!

Steve is a fantastic wedding photographer, and we were thrilled with our photographs. We have such a lovely arrangement of formal and repertoire shots of our day. We specifically asked him to cover our wedding because we wanted an upbeat photographer, with lots of character who could handle the guests and get them where we needed them to be, as this is often the most difficult part! He is also very laid back and without you noticing he gets the shots that you hope he will. We were also really amazed at how quickly he turned the images around. We would highly recommend Ketch 22.

Our wedding album is gorgeous and truly exceeded our expectations, we would have no hesitation in recommending Steve to anyone who ever tells us they are getting married. I am also sure we will be in touch in the future to have some “family shoots” done. Thank you for our Happy Memories Forever.
