A wedding where a bride accidentally went down the aisle in a classic Bugatti car! It was impromptu where the owner of the venue asked if she wanted a lift to ceremony location, but then didn't stop. It was funny and hilarious - and the bride took it in stride.
Refreshing, modern, timeless, light and happy
My relationships with my clients and their families. I strive to get to know everyone dear to the couple so I can photograph their authentic selves.
After the ceremony, keep walking to a space away from your guests so you can soak in the fact you just got married! You can then do the confetti and great all your guests.
Polaroid photographs as the name place holders on every plate. The amount of effort to dig up the memorial and hilarious moments wasn't wasted as it was a huge hit with the guests.
I share a full wedding gallery before scheduling a meeting with the couple where we get to know each other and your plans for the day. I always try to be of service and understand what my couples hope to achieve, and how I can deliver on that.
We then go over my services and collection options and confirm booking details.
Once booked, I keep in touch providing my couples with loads of tips and support in the lead up to the day.
Photographs as you leave the ceremony are my favourite. There is so much uncontainable joy in that photo!
The couple was really into fantasy and romance. We spotted a pretty tree and the bride commented offhand it would be a dream to do a photo with her up against a tree and her pressing into him like a classic scene from a movie. Unfortunately the grass had recently been cut and looked dreadful - so I worked some photoshop magic to bring that vision to life for them. The photo was just so very them.
I have a whole blog post on this. But mostly, embrace it! I am a very organised and efficient photographer, and quickly come up with options for those must have group and portrait photographs.
I started over 15 years ago when I was still in secondary school. A prominent photographer saw my work and I quickly became their bonafide sidekick at weddings and major shoots.
