Hi, I’m Kay—a wedding photographer based in beautiful Worcestershire. I specialize in capturing the genuine, heartfelt moments that make your wedding day truly unique. My passion is telling your story through timeless images that reflect the love and joy you share.
I believe the best wedding photos come from real, natural moments—not stiff poses. My style is relaxed and storytelling-focused, designed to keep you comfortable and stress-free. From our first conversation, I’ll listen closely to your vision and the little details that matter most. My goal is to be more than just your photographer—I want to be a friendly, supportive presence throughout your day.
To help you feel relaxed on your wedding day, I offer engagement shoots—a fun, pressure-free way for us to get to know each other and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. While weddings are my main focus, I also have experience in family and maternity photography, which enriches my ability to capture life’s most meaningful moments.
Oh wow, that’s a tough one because every wedding is special in its own way! But if I had to pick, one that really stands out was a Christmas-themed wedding I shot just a week before Christmas. It was pure festive magic - Christmas trees, a Santa’s grotto, Christmas music playing in the background, and even snow (okay, not real snow, but it felt real!). The whole day had such a warm, cosy, and joyful atmosphere, and you could just feel the excitement in the air. It was like stepping into a Christmas film.
1. Natural – I love capturing real, unposed moments that feel authentic.
2. Warm – I’m drawn to soft, cosy tones that feel inviting and timeless.
3. Timeless – I want your photos to feel just as special years down the line.
4. Storytelling – Every wedding and engagement shoot is about your unique story.
5. Romantic – Soft lighting, intimate moments, and all the little details that make love feel magical.
What makes me the proudest is turning a lifelong passion into something that brings so much joy to others. Photography has been a huge part of my life since I was a child, and now, getting to capture real moments for couples to treasure forever feels like a dream come true. There’s something so special about knowing that the photos I take will be looked at for years to come, framed on walls, shared with family, and flicked through on anniversaries. Seeing my couples’ reactions when they receive their photos is the best feeling ever, it reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place!
Make it your day, not anyone else’s!
It’s so easy to get caught up in traditions, expectations, and what everyone else thinks you should do, but the best weddings are the ones that truly reflect you as a couple. Whether that means an intimate elopement, a big party with all your friends, or a laid-back garden wedding with your dog as the ring bearer, do what makes you happy.
Oh, and one more tiny tip, trust your photographer! The best photos happen when you relax, have fun, and soak up every moment. Let go of the pressure to pose perfectly, and just enjoy the day!
Here’s how I typically work with couples:
First, we’ll have a friendly chat (either in person or over video) where we can talk about your wedding plans, ideas, and vision for the day. I want to get to know you both, understand what’s important to you, and make sure we’re a great fit.
On the day of your wedding, I aim to document your day as it happens, nothing forced or overly posed, just you in your element.
After the wedding, I’ll carefully edit your photos to enhance the colours and moments that make them special. You’ll receive a sneak peek of 10 images the very next day, and the full gallery will be ready within a few weeks.
Throughout the process, I’ll be there to support you, answer any questions, and ensure your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
The British weather always keeps us on our toes! Whether it's summer or winter, the rain can surprise us at any time, so it's important to be ready for it and embrace it. My top tip for a rainy day wedding - accept it and make the most of it!
One of the best things you can do is get clear umbrellas, they’ll keep you dry but still let the light shine through for those beautiful, romantic shots. Some of the most romantic photos can be taken in the rain, with couples huddling under umbrellas, laughing, or sharing a quiet moment together.
So, don’t worry about the weather, plan for it, embrace it, and remember that some of the most memorable and intimate moments happen when you least expect it. Plus, rain = good luck.
When I was little, I remember my mom taking pictures on a film camera. There were so many different wheels on her camera - I was absolutely fascinated. It was like magic.
Years later, as a student, I went to the States for the first time. I bought a digital camera and took thousands of pictures. It was like documenting my trip rather than a creative process.
And I’m so pleased I did. When I look back on them and can feel vivid memories flooding back, that’s when I realised that I could create the magic too. And I knew that I wanted to be a photographer.
