What is your most memorable wedding?
Catrina and Ricky's stunning wedding ceremony at the De Vere Tortworth Court Hotel was absolutely breath taking! The gallery is available to view to the public on my website.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Bright, Fun, Energetic, Stylish and modern
What about your business are you most proud of?
The customer experience - I work hard for my couples and offer more than just photos
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
You have to like your PHOTOGRAPHER as well as their photos - you're going to be spending the whole day (the best day of your lives) with them!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I'm a sucker for personalised confetti bags, they're always so beautiful, have a purpose and make a couple of beautiful memories/photos
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Your FREE engagement photoshoot is available anytime up to a month before your wedding at which time we will have a consultation, a chance for a cuppa and to run over everything that is planned for the day. After shooting your selected coverage I back up your photos several times and get to work on editing- this can take between 2-3 months in busy periods. Once they are ready you will receive an email with your password to your online gallery which you have for 6 months and your memory stick will be coming to you in the post!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The one that means the most to them! Some couples want beautiful Instagram content, others want formal family shots, most want all the shots!! It's your wedding- get the photos you want!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A photo of the flower girl holding a framed photo of the bride at the same age, I mean they were the spitting image of each other!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Be brave! I have clear umbrellas in the boot of the car, if the venue has any outside areas covered or if you don't mind trashing the dress (I know, take a deep breath!) you can get some stunning photos in the rain which I bet your friends and family wouldn't have had at their weddings!
Describe how you got into photography.
I was always interested in photography, my grandad planted the seed and my mum would buy my disposables for our caravan holidays. I studied photography and art, but when I finished my degree I went off plan and did a management degree and worked in sales for a few years. I came back to photography because it makes me happy. Plus, after years of shooting friends and family weddings for free I thought it was about time I got paid!!
