If you’re planning your wedding in or around Earls Barton, Northamptonshire, meet Katie Finn—a professional wedding and family photographer with over 10 years of experience. Katie’s passion is telling your unique love story through elegant, timeless images that feel natural and effortless. Her photos don’t just document your day; they capture the emotions and moments you’ll treasure forever.
Katie’s warm and attentive approach means she’s more than just your photographer—she’s part of your day. She genuinely connects with couples, often moved by the vows and sharing in the laughter during speeches. From the first chat to the final photo delivery, Katie listens carefully to your vision and supports you every step of the way.
One of Katie’s favourite times to shoot is during the “golden hour” just before sunset, when the light is soft and romantic—perfect for stunning couple portraits. She’s there for every key moment, from cake cutting to the first dance and all the evening celebrations. Katie often stays a little longer than planned to make sure no special memory goes undocumented. Her goal is to deliver a beautiful, comprehensive gallery that tells the full story of your wedding day.

Knowing my couples are confident to come to me for any type of support they need...not just as a photographer, but as a friend
You have a lot of loved ones around you for support, including us wedding suppliers. So don't stress about your wedding as we've got your back! - Oh, and definitely do the speeches before your meal, otherwise you might be too nervous to eat!
The mums from each side of the family making a wedding cake for the day. Nothing wrong with two cakes!

Definitely a big group photo of everyone! and I'm a sucker for a champagne spray
It's great when the venues supply lovely umbrellas to use as props in the photos! Plus rainy day photos can look so romantic, you'll be too loved up in the moment to care about the weather!
My interest in photography began at the end of school when studying Art & Graphics. From there, I studied photography at Bedford College to then go onto study Commercial Photography at Bournemouth Arts University. With over 7 years experience in the industry, I am also proud to say I have a Diploma and a Bachelor’s Honours Degree in what I love doing most.
